It was an un-Cavanlike performance - I don't think we have conceded so many goals in my time. We created goal chances in the first half and did not take them and that is what the game swung on. Tyrone were exceptionally good, especially in the first half.

    Terry Hyland, Cavan manager

We are happy with what we scored, but unhappy at conceding 2-17, that is a serious amount. We played the way we can play - a very expansive, open game of football and we finished well. The goals were important, we didn't get any in the first match and got five today and that makes a big difference.

    Mickey Harte, Tyrone manager

In the first of six additional minutes, Tyrone sub Mark Bradley rolls the ball into the corner of the net for his side's fifth goal.

Within seconds Bradley adds a point from play. The scoring of Tyrone's substitutes illustrates the strength in depth Red Hands Mickey Harte possesses.
