    I don't think the two red cards handed out today will suffice. If there are people caught up in things that they shouldn't have been then that needs to be dealt with. The fact that they came through this will galvanise Galway like never before. Derry now know that Galway will be a different animal in two weeks' time

    I don't agree with penalties, there definitely should have been a replay. Allow at least one replay especially at this level. These players have put their lives on the line for the last six to eight months. To take a rule from soccer just seems a bit silly to me and that is what it is, a soccer rule.

    Thankfully there was none of the shenanigans in extra-time that we witnessed at the end of normal time. I think Galway just about played the better football and are deserved winners. It was a brilliant contest and a privilege to be here.

    The game was so intense. The prize was massive and now Derry await Galway in the semi-final. Galway will have an anxious few days now waiting on the referee's report to see if they will have any suspensions.
