I honestly can't call it today. Both teams are so potent on the counter-attack and are managed very well.

Glen will be every bit as hungry as Kilmacud. I would however, not bet against Glen finding a way today, on the big stage they are seldom found wanting.

To me, the angle I would look at it, Kilmacud have to be aware of how awesome a team Glen are. If they want to be All-Ireland champions they can't leave Paul Mannion on the bench. It's the ultimate sign of respect and they know how dangerous Glen are.

Kilmacud boss Robbie Brennan has sprung a big surprise by naming Paul Mannion in his starting XV.

The three-time All-Star was expected to play some part in today's final, but given he hasn't played since the Dublin Championship quarter-final in September, seeing him in from the start may have caught Glen out a bit.

But look, Glen know that they need to beat the best to win a first All-Ireland title.

Today that means overcoming a Kilmacud attack that includes both Mannion and Shane Walsh.

  9. Team news - Mannion starts for Crokespublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January 2023

Glen v Kilmacud Crokes (15:30 GMT)

There's no surprise that Conor Glass is named from the start as Glen's key man in the middle looks to return to gaelic games with some silverware.

The headline news comes from Kilmacud Crokes, who have made one change from the programme as Dublin legend Paul Mannion comes in for Shane Horan. That's a big signal of intent.

Galway star forward Shane Walsh also starts after making the switch to the Dublin side last year.

Now he could fire Kilmacud to glory at Croke Park.

FT: Dunloy 1-15 Ballyhale Shamrocks 1-22

    Lee Chin
Wexford hurler on BBC Sport NI

They are a fantastic club, even after the heartbreak of last year, to come back and win another All-Ireland. Huge credit to everyone involved in the parish and everyone who went before them.

It was a good contest until Ballyhale got control of the game in the final 10 minutes. The final score probably wasn't a fair reflection of the game.

FT: Dunloy 1-15 Ballyhale Shamrocks 1-22

    Matt Gault

Fairly familiar scenes as Ballyhale celebrate another All-Ireland title, their ninth.

It's a sweet moment for them, especially after the dramatic nature of last year's final defeat by Ballygunner.

The Dunloy boys embrace each other out on the pitch. Some of them look utterly exhausted, others just look defeated. There are hugs and handshakes all round.

Defeats bring teams closer together, and Dunloy will be back. Whether this group will make another All-Ireland final remains to be seen, but they'll regroup in time to defend their Antrim and Ulster titles in the second half of 2023.

It's all over and it's more heartache in an All-Ireland final for Dunloy as Ballyhale win the Tommy Moore Cup for a record-extending ninth time.

    Dunloy 1-15 Ballyhale Shamrocks 1-19

A Conal Cunning free splits the posts and Dunloy are now three behind...for a matter of seconds as the brilliant Eoin Cody knocks another one over.

The Leinster champions look unflappable out there.

    Dunloy 1-14 Ballyhale Shamrocks 1-18

Colin Fennelly's score puts five between the sides and it looks like another All-Ireland final is slipping through Dunloy's grasp.

As heartbreaking as it is for, All-Ireland finals are Ballyhale's bread and butter.

Paul Shiels keeps Dunloy just about in it with a fine effort but it'll take a minor miracle in the last few minutes from the Cuchullains to take the Tommy Moore Cup back up north.

  20. Shamrocks move four ahead againpublished at 14:40 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January 2023

    Dunloy 1-13 Ballyhale Shamrocks 1-17

Paddy Mullen drives over before a stupendous smack of the ball from Killian Corcoran sails over the bar.

And just like that, Ballyhale lead by four. They always seem to have that extra gear they can go to seemingly at will. Dunloy need a goal.
