WOW! GOAL FOR MONAGHAN!
And what a quality goal it was from Stephen O'Hanlon!
He was set up superbly by a lovely pass from goalkeeper Rory Beggan, but he still had a lot of work to do as he powered his way inside before lashing a bullet strike in at the near post.
Monaghan have the lead having been behind for so, so long in the match.

Brilliant point from Conor McCarthy brings it back to a one-point game but immediately Conn Kilpatrick fists a point over for Tyrone.
Could Kilpatrick have gone for goal there? Hmm, Hard to tell. He takes his point anyway.

Monaghan are right back in this. Their high press is starting to rattle Tyrone and they are winning ball at midfield. Conor McCarthy's move to the half-back line has also energised the Farneymen.

Tyrone really need to break this Monaghan momentum because it is eating into their lead.

Well, well, well.
Monaghan are properly putting the squeeze on here as they continue their strong start to the season by reducing Tyrone's lead to two points.
This has been the most uncomfortable period of the game for the Red Hands. They could do with a score.
Tyrone 1-10 Monaghan 0-10
Wow, that's a big miss from Rory Beggan as the Monaghan fires a 45 wide.
He'd have expected to do better with that.
Tyrone 1-10 Monaghan 0-10
Stephen O'Hanlon gets a yellow card for a high tackle.
Within a minute, though, he sets up a goalscoring chance for Conor McManus but his shot is blocked well.

That looked like a strong Monaghan penalty shout just after half-time as Karl Gallagher appeared to be pulled back in the large square as he tried to field a long ball but referee Niall Cullen thought otherwise.
Tyrone 1-10 Monaghan 0-8
Ouch!
That looked like a sore one as Conn Kilpatrick and Karl Gallagher collide, with both men needing treatment before getting up to carry on.

Oisin McConville
Armagh All-Ireland winner on BBC Two NI
Monaghan need more legs in the forward line. They need to up their energy levels, you just want a bit more from them all over the pitch. Tyrone are in control because they are winning the kick-outs - and they are winning them easily.

Tyrone did have the benefit of a strong enough wind advantage in that first half but their five-point interval lead still looks a very healthy position.
Canavan's movement and finishing has been key to Tyrone's superiority and it's only Conor McManus' frees that are keeping Monaghan in any kind of touch.
But Monaghan are going to need a lot more than McManus frees to get back into this game.

Michael Murphy
Former Donegal captain and All-Ireland winner on BBC Two NI
Tyrone are very strong and comfortable on the ball. They carry the ball so well. Darragh Canavan is free, prowling about for the scores as he does - and he is getting them.

Niall Morgan's kick-outs have been exceptional and that has been at the heart of Tyrone's success in this game, while Darragh Canavan is showing that he can do anything.
