All smiles on the podium as Alastair Seeley takes his 28th North West 200 victory.

Just to confirm, Davey Todd was second and Michael Dunlop was third.

Alastair Seeley, Superstock winner:

"It’s nice to rattle another one out. It is a match made in heaven [his relationship with TAS Racing]. Philip gave me the opportunity back in 2009 and we brought two titles very quickly. It’s a great team, they are a great bunch of guys with a big family atmosphere and this year we are very happy – and I keep saying that a happy rider is a fast rider. We are all smiling, we are all fist-pumping and that is what it is all about. We’ll see on Saturday if there are more to come."

The final scheduled race of the evening, the Supertwins, has been cancelled.

The race has been declared after the red flag.

Alastair Seeley has won ahead of Davey Todd and Michael Dunlop.

Seeley is onto his final lap. His lead is over 10 seconds.

Todd leads Dunlop over the line as the pair continue to rattle away for second.

Dean Harrison is in the loneliest of fourth places, a fair bit ahead of the Rutter/Hillier/McGuinness battle for fifth.

All eyes are on the Michael Dunlop battle with Davey Todd behind.

Todd is happy to sit in the slipstream on the run to University, and again on the approach to Mather's.

He thinks about it again on the run to Metropole and finally makes his move to the inside.

Fair to say he absolutely loved it.

Two laps to go.

This is quite the contrast to the Supersport race but it's hard not to admire Seeley in this form. Imperious stuff.

Seeley is now 8.2 seconds clear by the end of the fourth lap.

Dunlop and Todd are tied together behind in the battle for second.

Dean Harrison is a very distant fourth.

This is like the Alastair Seeley of old and he's miles clear.

Behind there's a good scrap for fifth with Michael Rutter, James Hillier, Nathan Harrison and John McGuinness.

Davey Todd has lost a lot of time and has dropped behind Dunlop.

Only Alastair Seeley can stop Alastair Seeley winning this one now.

That's another lap record and he leads by 5.7 seconds.

Davey Todd has gone straight on at Mather's Cross!

That's given Seeley a huuuuge margin now.

The Wee Wizard has stretched his legs on the run to University.

Todd is still there but he's slowly dropping back.

Seeley has broken another lap record by six tenths of a second!

124.196mph! 4:20.009! He's on fire here.

Seeley still leads at the end of the second lap.

Todd is second, still hanging in there, 0.8 seconds back, and Dunlop and Harrison are cut adrift from the leading pair.

Todd is struggling to reel Seeley in on the run to Mather's.

He's staying with Seeley but can't erode the margin out front.

Seeley has pulled the pin here and Todd has gone with him.

Dunlop has drifted away in third.

Harrison, Hillier and Cummins make up the top six.
