    Cushendall v Slaughtneil (14:30 GMT)

Cushendall needed a piece of typical Neil McManus magic a fortnight ago to keep their Ulster ambitions alive for this year as his 21-metre free in the last puck of normal time brought a magnificent contest to extra-time which Dall dominated to see off brave Portaferry on a flattering 4-28 to 3-19 scoreline.

Five weeks earlier, on 15 October, Dall held on to defeat Dunloy's Antrim semi-final conquerors Loughgiel 1-20 to 1-19 in the Saffron County's decider after a late rally from the Shamrocks.

Slaughtneil's 11th successive Derry title was secured a full four weeks before the Antrim decider as the Robert Emmets outfit outclassed Kevin Lynch's 3-23 to 1-9.

The Derry champions' manager Michael McShane has insisted that the 11-week hiatus in competitive action won't hinder his side.

We will see very shortly whether that assessment proves to be correct.

  2. Loughgiel lose semi-final to Dicksboropublished at 14:25 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2023

Loughiel Shamrocks missed out on reaching a second successive All-Ireland Senior Club Camogie Championship final as they were beaten 2-13 to 1-10 in Saturday's semi-final by Dicksboro.

The Antrim and Ulster champions were on course for another decider at half-time having built a 1-8 to 0-6 lead.

However, the Kilkenny club came back in the second half at Ashbourne in county Meath to reach their first showpiece.

Asha McHardy scored both of Dicksboro's goals.

McHardy's 2-1 and seven points from Aoife Prendergast propelled Dicksboro to their first All-Ireland final and left Loughgiel to reflect on more disappointment on the national stage.

While Dicksboro led 0-3 to 0-1 early on, Antrim's Caitrin Dobbin swung the game in Loughgiel's favour with a finely taken goal inside five minutes.

At half-time in the All-Ireland Senior Club Ladies' semi-final, it's Ballymacarbry who lead Clann Eireann by 0-4 to 0-3.

Two late scores from Kelly-Ann Hagan and Summer Peters edged the Munster champions ahead before a third Niamh Murray free reduced the gap to a point.

We'll bring you the full-time score when it comes in and keep an eye out on the BBC Sport website for the report.

  4. Cushendall and Slaughtneil braced for Ulster deciderpublished at 14:16 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2023

Cushendall v Slaughtneil (14:30 GMT, Pairc Esler )

Today's Ulster Senior Club Hurling final sees Slaughtneil and Cushendall renewing hostilities in a hotly-anticipated provincial decider in Newry.

It is an Ulster showpiece dripping with sub-plots, intrigue and the potential to deliver a blockbuster.

Slaughtneil's staying power at this level is beyond reproach by now. This will be their eighth appearance in the last 10 Ulster finals (they didn't make it in 2014 or 2018).

Their record in that timeframe is commendable if not impeccable: four wins, three defeats. And of course, they remain the only Derry club to have gotten their hands on the Four Seasons Cup.

But Dall have undoubted pedigree of their own having won the provincial title on 11 occasion - which has them joint record holders with Dunloy - with their last title coming as recently as 2018.

That Cushendall success came three years after they earned a epic 1-24 to 3-17 extra-time victory over Slaughtneil and the Antrim champions went on to reach the All-Ireland Final in that 2015-16 campaign.

Today's game has the making of another Titanic struggle and you can read more about it here in our big match preview.
