  2. 'Hopefully we can go one step further'published at 17:32 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January

FT: Kilmacud Crokes 2-10 Glen 1-14

Michael Warnock: "Getting out of Derry is really tough and getting out of Ulster is harder again, so to get to an All-Ireland final, it's out aim to be the best team in Ireland. We're going to need another massive performance, we will need to be a lot better. We were very good in the first half today but not so good in the second half.

"When you beat someone like Slaughtneil, we all know where they have been over the past number of years, it gives you confidence. It's one game at a time when you come into these competitions because everyone is county champions and hopefully we can go one step further this year."

  3. 'Every emotion' in semi-finalpublished at 17:28 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January

FT: Kilmacud Crokes 2-10 Glen 1-14

Michael Warnock, Glen defender: "Madness, euphoria, disappointment and probably every emotion the human body can experience. We thought we had it when we got the goal there but they came straight down the pitch and put one in the back of the net. They had another chance at the end but thankfully it just went wide.

"It was a day when your emotions were left, right, up, down, sideways but we are delighted to get over the line."

  4. 'A lot of hype'published at 17:25 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January

FT: Kilmacud Crokes 2-10 Glen 1-14

Danny Tallon: "We parked it last year after it happened [Kilmacud's controversial 16th man]. It was trying to get back to the final that was driving us on. There was a lot of hype around it but we just took it as another game. Last year Kilmacud came out on the right side and this year, thankfully, it was us.

On returning to Croke Park: "I can't even put into words what it means. Last year was a serious lift for our community and putting smiles on everybody's faces was great. We're back there now but it won't count for much unless we go on and win it. We know St Brigids are a great outfit. We'll work hard over the next two weeks and give it out best."

  5. 'Crazy stuff'published at 17:21 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January

FT: Kilmacud Crokes 2-10 Glen 1-14

Danny Tallon, Glen forward: "Crazy, it hasn't really sunk in yet. Just mad. We were seven up at the start of the second half and we knew they were going to come back at us. Fair play to them, they did and brought it back level.

"When we got the goal we maybe thought that was enough, but they never lie down and got a goal in the next play. It was crazy stuff."
