    Antrim 0-4 Galway 1-8

Galway are now seven ahead just after the midway point in the first half and they are playing against the breeze. Sean Linnane has just scored two of their points with Gavin Lee and Tom Monaghan also on target.

Paddy Burke's score did briefly reduce the Galway to four after a Conor Whelan score but the visitors have since dominated.

Despite playing with a strong breeze, the Saffrons are playing with two sweepers but the tactic doesn't seem to be working so far.

    Antrim 0-2 Galway 1-2

Antrim got off to the worst possible start as Galway's Jason Flynn intercepted an attempted quick puckout by Tiernan Smyth to Phelim Duffin and fired to the net.

To their credit, the Saffrons then responded with points from Rian McMullan and Eoghan Campbell, although their keeper Smyth then had another scare when Daly almost intercept another short puckout.

Evan Niland has just pointed twice to increase Galway's lead to three - and the Tribesmen are playing against a strong breeze in the first half.

  5. Hurling: Antrim v Galway, 13:00 Corrigan Parkpublished at 12:57 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February

    Team News

Antrim boss Darren Gleeson makes two changes from the agonising last-gasp home defeat by Dublin two weeks ago as Phelim Duffin and Ronan McAteer take over from Stephen Rooney and Conor Boyd.

That was a tough loss for the Saffrons as they led Dublin late on only for keeper Tiernan Smyth to fumble a Sean Gallagher shot over his own goal-line as they visitors snatched a 1-20 to 1-19 win.

That defeat came after an opening 1-36 to 1-9 pummelling by under-strength All-Ireland champions Limerick.

As he indicated following that game, Gleeson has kept faith with Loughgiel man Smyth for today's game.

Despite not having won the All-Ireland title since 2017, Galway remain one of the game's major powers.

Henry Shefflin has made six changes from the defeat by Tipperary two weeks ago.

St Thomas' duo Fintan and David Burke return along with Darren Morrissey, Adrian Tuohy, Daithi Burke and Sean Linnane as Jack Grealish, TJ Brennan, Shane Cooney, Ronan Glennon, Donal O’Shea and John Cooney drop out.

Antrim: Tiernan Smyth; Phelim Duffin, Rory McCloskey, Paddy Burke; Niall O'Connor, Ryan McGarry, Scott Walsh; Ronan McAteer, Eoghan Campbell; Rian McMullan, Aodhan O'Brien, Niall McKenna; Conal Cunning, Joseph McLaughlin, Fred McCurry

Galway: Darach Fahy; Darren Morrissey, Fintan Burke, Padraic Mannion; Adrian Tuohy, Cianan Fahy, Daithi Burke; David Burke, Sean Linnane; Gavin Lee, Tom Monaghan, Conor Cooney; Evan Niland, Conor Whelan, Jason Flynn.

    Allianz Leagues

We're nearly out of February and the Allianz Leagues in Football and Hurling are really starting to take shape as we hit round four in the big-ball game and the third series of fixtures in the caman code.

Our BBC iPlayer and Sport website live streamed game today is the Football League Division Two top-of-the-table clash between Armagh and Donegal which throws in at 15:00 at the Athletic Grounds.

Kieran McGeeney's Armagh side lead the table but it couldn't be closer as they currently edge out Jim McGuinness' Donegal by a single point on scoring difference after both teams won their opening three fixtures.

But first up, we have Antrim hurlers in action against Galway at Corrigan Park at 13:00 GMT in which will be daunting test for Darren Gleeson's side.

Derry and Monaghan's Division One Football games then both throw in at 13:45 with the Oak Leakers aim to maintain their 100% record as they face Galway at Salthill with the Farney men up against Roscommon at Dr Hyde Park in what looks like a real relegation four-pointer.

Today's Division Two Football games include Fermanagh v Cork at Ederney and Louth v Cavan at Ardee which both start at 14:00 BST while there is the same throw-in time in the Division Three clash at Markievicz Park in Sligo where Antrim will hope to rekindle their promotion hopes by taking the points.
