It is on. Gatlin versus Bolt and it is bubbling up nicely. It all looked straight-forward and simple for Gatlin. Bolt looks so good, but, yes, Gatlin was not flat out.

It was a very, very good start by Justin Gatlin.
He got out, he was very relaxed, he wasn’t really challenged to be fair to him, so he didn’t have to put the foot down like he will a little later.
But we saw in Beijing last year, he was put under pressure by Usain Bolt and he faltered.
Not even close to as impressive as Usain Bolt.

CJ Ujah misses out on a place in the final with Trayvon Bromell squeaking through - despite clocking the exact same time.
Men's 100m semis
Even easier from Justin Gatlin, he only clocks 9.95 but he was shutting down from about 75m.
Yohan Blake joins him in the final at 10.01.

What sort of time has Justin Gatlin got in the tank? It it doesn't start with 9.8? then he's in trouble...

It took four hours and two minutes.
No wonder Andy Murray can only briefly raise his arms. The net temporarily props him up.
"What a game that was," I hear one man say.
Another says: "That was the best I've seen here. I just feel blessed coming to this. Amazing experience."
Men's 100m semis
The third semi is packed with class. Yohan Blake, James Dasaolu, Justin Gatlin...
Men's 100m
It's a big night for another Jamaican sprinter too.
Remember Yohan Blake? The 2011 world champion was second to Usain Bolt in both the 100m and 200m in London four years ago but has a shocking time since.
Plagued by injury, he has not featured at any major championship since. He goes in the same third semi-final as Justin Gatlin and James Dasaolu tonight (01:14 BST)
This is a man whose PB of 9.69 seconds has only ever been beaten by Bolt. Pedigree...

Two-time world 110m hurdles champion on BBC TV
That was a real majestic performance from Usain Bolt. We knew he would have to work in the first 30, 40 metres, so he had to get out well, but once he unleashed that massive stride he pulled ahead so easily.
He started to look around, could shut down and look at the clock. He is in great shape and he has an opportunity here because conditions are perfect.
Men's 100m semis
GB's CJ Ujah was fourth in 10.01 in that semi-final. He could squeeze through.
Murray wins gold
Not only has Andy Murray won gold, he's won a very significant gold for Team GB.
Gold! Gold! Gold! Gold! Gold! Count them all. FIVE!
Murray's success means today at Rio has been Great Britain’s most successful day at an overseas Olympics.
The previous best of four golds was achieved three times in Beijing and once in Athens.
Team GB won six gold medals on Super Saturday in London 2012, and won eight gold medals in one day at London 1908.
Women's 400m semi-final
Here's USA's Allyson Felix's winning run to finish first in her 400m semi, putting her through to the final.

It was a decent start, not a blistering start, I think he’ll need to do better in the final.
But 9.86, exactly what you want just before Justin Gatlin goes out to race.
Let me tell you, Usain Bolt is in shape, very good shape.
Men's 100m semis
That would have been a world record about 20 years ago. My word.
Andre de Gasse is second and through and Trayvon Bromell - second fastest man this year before the Games - is only third and could well be out.
Men's 100m semis
Usain Bolt is left in the blocks slightly but here he comes through in textbook style, upright and looking around - 9.86!
NINE EIGHT SIX. At a canter.
My word.

It was a bruising final. He found a way to win. The tears come. He is an Olympic champion again. The enormity of what he has achieved is dawning on him.

Ooof! A false start to jangle the nerves. A massive one too as Andrew Fisher jumps the gun and is out!
