CJ Ujah misses out on a place in the final with Trayvon Bromell squeaking through - despite clocking the exact same time. 

Even easier from Justin Gatlin, he only clocks 9.95 but he was shutting down from about 75m.

Yohan Blake joins him in the final at 10.01.

No wonder Andy Murray can only briefly raise his arms. The net temporarily props him up. 

"What a game that was," I hear one man say.

Another says: "That was the best I've seen here. I just feel blessed coming to this. Amazing experience."

That was a real majestic performance from Usain Bolt. We knew he would have to work in the first 30, 40 metres, so he had to get out well, but once he unleashed that massive stride he pulled ahead so easily.

He started to look around, could shut down and look at the clock. He is in great shape and he has an opportunity here because conditions are perfect.

GB's CJ Ujah was fourth in 10.01 in that semi-final. He could squeeze through.

Not only has Andy Murray won gold, he's won a very significant gold for Team GB.

Gold! Gold! Gold! Gold! Gold! Count them all. FIVE!

Murray's success means today at Rio has been Great Britain’s most successful day at an overseas Olympics.  

The previous best of four golds was achieved three times in Beijing and once in Athens.

Team GB won six gold medals on Super Saturday in London 2012, and won eight gold medals in one day at London 1908.

It was a decent start, not a blistering start, I think he’ll need to do better in the final.

But 9.86, exactly what you want just before Justin Gatlin goes out to race.

Let me tell you, Usain Bolt is in shape, very good shape.

That would have been a world record about 20 years ago. My word.

Andre de Gasse is second and through and Trayvon Bromell - second fastest man this year before the Games - is only third and could well be out. 

Usain Bolt is left in the blocks slightly but here he comes through in textbook style, upright and looking around - 9.86!
