Here we go. The Brits are beaming, the Netherlands look like they've been to a funeral. Germany, who won bronze earlier, are pretty happy. Is this one of those moments when it's better to have won bronze in a play-off than be given silver for losing a final?
Speaking of medals, the ceremony for the women's hockey is coming up. It'll be a long one, each squad has 16 players. That's 48 medals to dish out.

Jonathan Collard: Hockey final probably one of the very best moments of the Games for GB. Cyclists, Mo, Whitlock/Tinkler, divers too
Adam Wheeler: Maddie Hinch. I salute you. You are a legend!
Mel H: I never heard of Maddie Hinch before #Rio2016, external but she's now my hero - that's the #Olympics, external for you! #TeamGB, external
After all that, Great Britain have 24 gold medals, two more than China with two days to go.
There might yet be another today too. Lutalo Muhammad's taekwondo final is up at 02:15.

Maddie Hinch is the best goalkeeper in the world. She made some key saves.
That set the bar for Great Britain.
It was a lesson for any goalkeepers watching tonight.

Daley finishes on top
Tom Daley - diving superbly this evening - has ended the qualification phase in first place with a score of 571.85.
He beats silver medallist from London Qiu Bo by seven points. Impressive. Most impressive.
Tune in for his semi-final on Saturday, 15:00 BST.

The girls have no idea what they are going back to.
There are thousands of players who will have been inspired by that.

"He's diving the best I've ever seen him dive"
Watch Tom Daley achieve his highest score yet.
Women's modern pentathlon
All over in the modern pentathlon. And it is an eighth gold of the Games for Australia! Chloe Esposito surges clear of the field to win.
Esposito (wearing number seven) finished ahead of French silver medallist Elodie Clouvel (two) and Poland's Oktawia Nowacka (one).
But there is bad news for Great Britain. GB has failed to bag a place on the podium for the first time since the women's event was introduced in 2000.
Kate French finishes in sixth place, while team-mate Samantha Murray - the silver medallist at London 2012 - is down in ninth.

Danny sets the bar and the players react to it.
It is a collective. The players buy into the management totally.
Sweden 1-2 Germany (70 mins)
It is advantage Germany as they lead 2-1 against Sweden in the women's football final.
Dzsenifer Marozsan put them in front with a fine curling finish from the edge of the area, before a nightmare moment for Swedish defender Linda Sembrant.
A Marozsan free-kick bounces off the post and Sembrant, under no pressure, makes a mess of the clearance and slams the rebound into her own net.
Sweden, who beat Brazil 4-3 on penalties in the semi-final, quickly pulled one back when Stina Blackstenius slid in to score from Kosovare Asslani's low cross. Twenty minutes left.

It is hard to believe but if we take it in the cold light of day, it is years in the making.
The girls believed they could do it, they knew they could deliver this.
