Hull FC 12-8 Catalans
The first half is all over and Hull FC are edging it as it stands.
Is this the same Hull FC who were thrashed by Huddersfield at the weekend?!
Hull FC 12-8 Catalans
Hull FC's Marc Sneyd attempts a 40-20 but it's caught by Catalans who race up-field once more.
Just beforehand, David Mead dealt with a galloping Bureta Faraimo superbly, holding him up with a huge tackle.
This is a bit of a stalemate as it stands with two evenly-matched sides.
Hull FC 12-8 Catalans
Marc Sneyd tries his luck after Hull win a penalty from 50 metres out and it's definitely within kicking range.
However it sails just wide and the four-point lead remains.
The hosts are looking a little more comfortable than they were 10 minutes ago!
Hull FC 12-8 Catalans
Hull FC are not sitting back right now and they're valiantly trying to extend their lead as half-time approaches.
Albert Kelly almost works on to a high ball to dive his way through to the line but he's held up and Catalans have it back.
Cracking game, this.
Hull FC 12-8 Catalans
Marc Sneyd has ducked and dodged his way through to making a charge through the Catalans back line but he loses the ball and the visitors pounce.
Steve McNamara's side have completely turned this game around and they now have their tails up.
Meanwhile at the turnover, Ratu Naulago dives to catch the ball under some immense pressure from Catalans full-back Sam Tomkins and there's an audible 'oooh' from the home crowd at just how well caught that was. Tremendous.
Lewis Tierney
Two in six minutes for Catalans!
Lewis Tierney gets himself on the scoresheet once more in almost identical fashion to his first try just before, as he runs in at the corner with ease.
Sam Tomkins punts his conversion well wide of the mark and Hull maintain a four-point lead as it stands.
Lewis Tierney
Commentator's curse! Catalans have scored a try!
What was that I was saying about Catalans? Lewis Tierney's single-handedly pulled the visitors back into this game with a lovely try in the corner.
Sam Tomkins misses the conversion that follows, however, but they're on the board. Where do they go from here?
Hull FC 12-0 Catalans
Catalans are having a torrid time on the field so far and have barely even entered the Hull FC side of the pitch yet.
Steve McNamara's side have had an extended trip on the road and have stayed in the UK since their win against Wakefield at the Magic Weekend.
It's early days but it's looking like they've got their work cut out if they are to avoid defeat this evening.
Bureta Faraimo, goal Marc Sneyd
Two tries in quick succession for Hull FC!
No sooner had Jake Connor scored for the hosts, Bureta Faraimo gets himself on the scoresheet as he runs in at the corner unopposed.
It's looking like a long way back for the holders Catalans, now.
Jake Connor, goal Marc Sneyd
Hull FC are the first to get some points on the board this evening and it's Jake Connor who crosses the whitewash.
Referee Ben Thaler immediately goes to video referee Robert Hicks in case there was interference in the build-up from Ratu Naulago but there's nothing wrong with it and Hull are ahead.
Meanwhile, Marc Sneyd makes no mistake with the extras.
Hull FC 0-0 Catalans
It's an entertaining start to this match with both sides playing relatively conservatively as they go toe to toe in these early stages.
Catalans, for what it's worth, are playing in a nice blue and white number this evening.
Lovely.
Hull FC 0-0 Catalans
Hull FC get this one under way.

Hull FC v Catalans (19:35 BST)
It's fair to say it's been a bumper few weeks for the sport of rugby league, which has seen the sport grace the iconic stages of Barcelona's Nou Camp and Liverpool's Anfield.
Tonight, we've got the small matter of the Challenge Cup, with Hull FC taking on in form Catalans Dragons at the KCOM Stadium.
In the not too distant past, Hull FC won this competition in successive seasons while Steve McNamara's Catalans triumphed in last season's final which paved the way for their regular season game against Wigan to take place at the Nou Camp and set the record for the biggest-ever Super League attendance.
But who will win the bragging rights this evening? Kick-off is coming your way soon.
