St Helens v Halifax (16:30 BST)

Half-time really is half-time here folks.

This is the midway point of our Challenge Cup triple header. It started with Leeds' victory over Castleford in the women's final and will finish with the second men's semi, St Helens v Halifax.

Arguably, Championship Fax are looking to pull off the biggest upset in the history of the competition against the runaway Super League leaders.

Surely it can't happen? SURELY? All I'm saying is, David beat Goliath.

Warrington Wolves prop Mike Cooper: "It's a proper semi-final game, it's swung a little bit, we started really well and then Hull had their period then we came back into it towards the end.

"We have got to keep doing what we are doing, control the ruck a little bit better, for us it's about playing fast and keeping the ball in play."

A tight, tense and enthralling first half ends with Warrington just in front.

    Could still go either way.

Stefan Ratchford burst through on halfway for Warrington but referee Robert Hicks said it was because of obstruction off the ball by one of his team-mates.

It gave Hull's Marc Sneyd the chance to level things up from the tee with a monster goal just before half-time. He pushed it wide though, and the buzzer is just seconds away.

Marc Sneyd's kick-off goes dead. Bad error from the Hull FC scrum-half and Warrington can start their set from wayyyy up the field.

    He's livid with himself.

    Ben Currie, goal Stefan Ratchford

That Jake Connor error is ruthlessly punished by a Warrington team that have been outplayed for a long spell. It's a brilliant high kick on the last from Blake Austin and Ben Currie jumps highest in the inside left channel.

Easy kick for Stefan Ratchford and Warrington lead.

    Warrington 4-8 Hull FC

Hull make their first error for a long time. Perhaps a little cold from sitting on the bench for half an hour Jake Connor knocks on at the play-the-ball, not the impact the England centre would have been looking to make.

He's just had some treatment for an ankle injury too. Rough start.

Mark Minichiello has done really well for Hull so far, he's leading the charge for their forwards.

    Marc Sneyd

    Marc Sneyd has arrived.

An inch perfect kick leaves Warrington's Jake Mamo sweating as he hovers over the ball hoping it'll go dead. With some Black and Whites bearing down on him he can't risk it and taps the ball down behind.

The repeat set from Hull leads to an error and Sneyd kicks the two.

    Absolutely textbook.

That is some try set up by Ratu Naulago - in the blink of an eye he went outside the winger and he was gone.

Put this in your scrapbook, that is a top try.

Callum Thompson: We have two of the best wingers in the game. Fact.

Karl Bradley: Not many players would have had the confidence to take the outside like Ratu there.

    Bureta Faraimo

    WHAT A TRY!!!

This all started with a back-of-the-hand flick from Joe Westerman under incredible pressure and it completely broke the game open for Hull FC. They're then able to expose Warrington's gaps in defence by moving it all the way over to the right where rapid winger Ratu Naulago puts on the after burners to leave three blue shirts in this wake.

A perfect kick then goes crossfield from Albert Kelly into the arms of Bureta Faraimo who squeezes over in the corner.

    Wow. Breathtaking stuff.

    Warrington 4-2 Hull FC

Can we ban the half-time team talks for this match? There is no way Steve Price or Lee Radford have told their players to play it as free flowing as we've seen in this past 10 minutes or so. It's brilliant to watch.

You'd think they were playing in baking sun on a pristine surface.

It's chucking it down on a greasy pitch in Bolton.

Both sides attempt to revert to the tactics they were presumably sent out with and mess the kicks up. Just stick with the running boys, it's great stuff!

All of a sudden this has exploded from a kicking game to a running game!

Warrington try-scorer Bryson Goodwin the latest to try and run through everyone.

    Love it.

Gutting for Jamie Shaul! He breaks the Warrington line from deep inside the Hull half and is honing in on Wire full-back Stefan Ratchford.

It's a fabulous run and he does everything right to pause and wait for support, until the last moment. He spills the ball as he touches the ground and it's a knock-on. Harsh I think, as the ball looked to go backwards.

Certainly the most exciting passage of play yet.

It's been slowly filling up inside the ground after the women's match ended and the Warrington and Hull sections are both packed now.

The Warrington fans have brought a drum as well as their voices and are using them both to good effect, especially when Bryson Goodwin gave them something to really cheer about with that opening try.

Hull fans aren't quiet for long though. They are roaring their side on every time they enter an attacking position.

  19. PENALTY: Warrington 4-2 Hull FCpublished at 14 mins

    Marc Sneyd

The first bit of sustained pressure from Hull FC ends with a penalty. They would've had a third repeat set of six, but instead they decided to take the two and get on the board.

Marc Sneyd slots it from straight in front.

    Warrington 4-0 Hull FC

Hull have experienced the pressure of Warrington's game-plan and decided it's the way to play in these conditions. Quite honestly, it was what we were expecting from them but Marc Sneyd hasn't managed to execute his kicks thus far.

This time he nails one in to the corner and Warrington have to start from deep. They eventually kick poorly through Blake Austin, but Ratu Naulago is hunted down by a Wire defence that are like a pack of wild dogs.

    Incredible intensity.
