There is a new name on the Womens Super League Trophy.

St Helens are champions. 2019 winners Leeds are dethroned.

Skipper Jodie Cunningham's late first-half try - Saints' second - was a turning point.

And the visitors then stormed in four more times in the space of 15 second-half minutes, to complete the third leg of a Challenge Cup/League Leaders' Shield/Super League treble.

  4. Can Leeds get on the scoresheet?published at 16:57 British Summer Time 10 October 2021

    Leeds 0-28 St Helens

That's the only question left to answer at Headingley.

And the answer is 'not very likely'.

Saints remain camped, looking for another try. They have simply steamrollered the Rhinos in this second half.

And Leeds now look totally spent.

  5. try

TRY: Leeds 0-28 St Helenspublished at 16:53 British Summer Time 10 October 2021

    Danielle Bush (72 mins)

St Helens go in again. Danielle Bush this time in the left corner, for try number six.

Zoe Stott's touchline kick is well off target, but it matters little. The Saints celebrations, off the field at least, have already begun.

  6. try

TRY: Leeds 0-24 St Helenspublished at 16:46 British Summer Time 10 October 2021

    Zoe Harris/Zoe Stott (67 mins)

    Try number five.

From what was a close contest before the break, this is sadly turning into a bit of a landslide now as Leeds buckle and Zoe Harris gets her name on the scoresheet.

    Zoe Stott adds the extras.

There could be more to come.

    Saints are rampant.

  7. Saints marching in . . .published at 16:46 British Summer Time 10 October 2021

    Leeds 0-18 St Helens

Fifteen minutes left now - and really it's just about pride for Leeds now - and keeping the score down.

  8. try

TRY: Leeds 0-18 St Helenspublished at 16:39 British Summer Time 10 October 2021

    Amy Hardcastle (59 mins)

Two tries in two minutes as Amy Hardcastle steams clear with an individual piece of skill.

Beth Stott misses the kick, but there's no doubt now where the trophy is heading.

It's going to be a Saints Super League weekend double. And the women are having it a lot easier than the men did last night.

  9. try

TRY: Leeds 0-14 St Helenspublished at 16:36 British Summer Time 10 October 2021

    Leah Burke (57 mins)

    And it is too!

Leah Burke just gets her hand on the ball in the right corner.

Beth Stott falls just short with the touchline kick.

But it's three tries to nil - and there may be no coming back from that.

  10. TRY REVIEWpublished at 16:34 British Summer Time 10 October 2021

    Leeds 0-10 St Helens

This could be a second try for Leah Burke.

  11. Winfield-Hill's great kicking gamepublished at 16:33 British Summer Time 10 October 2021

    Leeds 0-10 St Helens

Courtney Winfield-Hill finds touch with another long clearing kick.

She has been very classy with the boot this afternoon.

  12. Wow! What a tackle!published at 16:29 British Summer Time 10 October 2021

    Leeds 0-10 St Helens

Great tackle by Sophie Robinson to halt Emily Hardcastle at full pace.

She forces the error too - and Leeds get the ball back.

  13. Leeds bouncing backpublished at 16:25 British Summer Time 10 October 2021

    Leeds 0-10 St Helens

Leeds have now found a second wind and got their tails up again.

But it's Saints who attack again on the left to take the ball back down to the Leeds line.

The next score in this contest is going to be crucial, surely?

  14. Back under way in Leedspublished at 16:19 British Summer Time 10 October 2021

The second half has started as the first half ended, with St Helens on top.

  15. Leeds have it all to dopublished at 16:14 British Summer Time 10 October 2021

    Leeds 0-10 St Helens

Leeds have come from behind to win before - but maybe not against as good and strong - and in-form - as this Saints team look to be. And Leeds are now without the injured Sophie Nuttall too.

They have gone close several other times, most notably through Chantelle Crowl just before their opening try.

Crowl missed out, then was lucky to miss out on a yellow card. But Jodie Cunningham, who did get yellow carded, then came back on to score her side's second try.

    Small margins in this game!

St Helens go in with a 10-point lead that maybe flatters them slightly.

But, after the opening try from Leah Burke (above), there is no doubting the quality of that stunner from Jodie Cunningham.

It even has the seal of approval of one of Saints' celebrity fans . . .

Leeds are quickly made to rue their handling at the other end.

Saints surge forward and, after a quick feint and body swerve to her right 40 metres out, Jodie Cunningham races away to score under the posts.

The goal is kicked by Beth Stott - and suddenly Saints are 10-0 up.

  18. Leeds miss chancepublished at 15:58 British Summer Time 10 October 2021

    Leeds 0-4 St Helens

St Helens have generally had the better of this game.

But Courtney Winfield-Hill's kick and Beevers' sprint then set up a Leeds platform and a goal-line drop-out, only for the chance to be missed.

  19. Standing ovation for Nuttallpublished at 15:52 British Summer Time 10 October 2021

    Leeds 0-4 St Helens

A great standing ovation for Sophie Nuttall as she is sadly stretchered off.

Seven minutes to go to half-time.

  20. Stretcher now on for Sophie Nuttallpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 10 October 2021

    Leeds 0-4 St Helens

The stretcher has come on as the Leeds medical team make a full assessment of Sophie Nuttall's injury.

Replays of the incident show that her head made contact with the ground as she fell, which is obviously a concern.

Play has been halted for almost 10 minutes now.
