Leeds aren't used to being up on points at half-time in finals.

They need a bit of reflection then some composure.

That was indeed the final kick of the half.

Leeds lead at the break thanks to Zoe Hornby's try and two Courtney Winfield-Hill goals.

Leah Burke scored the Saints' try which keeps them very much in this final.

With almost the last kick of the half Courtney Winfield-Hill lands a penalty after Saints are penalised 35 metres out.

That will make Leeds happier.

Leeds have had 14 play-the-balls in the St Helens 20, compared to six at the other end.

That feels about right. Leeds have been the better side in this half - but their dominance isn't showing quite as much on the scoreboard as they might like, even though they lead.

Only a few minutes away from the half-time hooter now. Time for another score before the break?

What an important try for Saints. The winger's left unmarked.

The kick was inch perfect and that is an absolute gift.

It's not happening for Saints at the moment. The holders move the ball wide towards Rebecca Rotherham but she is absolutely crunched by Caitlin Beevers.

There's a slight break in play while Leeds' Shannon Lacey receives treatment. She limps off and Zoe Hornby is back into the action.

Once we're back under way, Leeds can't make the most of decent field position from a scrum and turn the ball over.

Half an hour into this contest and it's thumbs up for Leeds. They deserve to be in front and could arguably have a bigger lead.

They're not at the races at the moment, Saints.

They're their own worst enemy.

They haven't had to deal with anything like this. We're half an hour gone and Leeds are 6-0 up but Saints came into this as massive favourites.

A slight injury worry for St Helens as Naomi Williams receives treatment on the sidelines for a knee injury.

Her replacement? Only England captain Emily Rudge. It underlines the strength in depth in this Saints side.

Saints do well to move the ball down field, thanks to a break by Vicky Whitfield.

But they're unable to land a telling blow on the last tackle as Rebecca Rotherham is engulfed by defenders.

Leeds are trying to take that attacking threat out of the game.

Saints are always looking for the lead runners in the second rows and centres so it'll be interesting to see what the plan B is.

Leeds batter away at the St Helens line. The holders are being tested.

But this time they do hold firm - and get the ball almost on their own line. It's a long way down to the other end of the field.

Courtney Winfield-Hill pumps a high kick up by the posts, Georgia Roche looks certan to score but Stott somehow rips the ball away from the Leeds half-back before she can touch down.

St Helens aren't quite able to break through the Leeds defensive line at the moment. The Rhinos' defence is holding firm.

And when they get the ball back they earn a repeat set.

So close to a second try for Leeds. The Rhinos swing the ball left, but Elychia Watson can't quite gather Danielle Anderson's pass with the try-line looming. Let off for Saints.

Leeds threaten again and have a new set 30m from the St Helens line.

The holders need to weather this storm.
