Salford Red Devils take on Huddersfield in tomorrow's second Super League play-off eliminator.

Despite their small budget, the Red Devils defied expectations to reach the top six this season.

Their reward is a meeting with former boss Ian Watson, who led the Giants to third spot and the Challenge Cup final this season.

You can read the preview for that game here.

Zak Hardaker kicks his second conversion of the evening.

Liam Sutcliffe scores the first try of the game and Leeds finally make their player advantage over Catalans count.

He plays a neat set of passes with Richie Myler as the pair rush to the line, and Leeds are on the board.

Zak Hardaker makes no mistake right in front of the posts to add the extras.

  10. PENALTYpublished at 32 mins

    Catalans 4-0 Leeds

Sam Tomkins adds the two and gives Catalans a four-point advantage against Leeds.

Impressive given they're a player down, with Mitchell Pearce still in the sin-bin for the time being.

  11. Postpublished at 31 mins

    Catalans 2-0 Leeds

There's a fair bit of distance, here, but Catalans are going for two once again.

    Sam Tomkins stands over it.

  12. Postpublished at 30 mins

    Catalans 2-0 Leeds

Joe Chan comes off for Catalans having sustained a heavy hit himself.

The hosts gets things going soon after he walks from the field but then Leeds are penalised for offside on halfway.

  13. Postpublished at 29 mins

    Catalans 2-0 Leeds

Morgan Gannon comes off for the time being but that was a big hit from Gil Dudson.

Catalans work the ball deep into the Leeds half before the turnover, but on their return, Leeds knock-on on their own final tackle.

  14. Postpublished at 28 mins

    Catalans 2-0 Leeds

Morgan Gannon comes off worse in a charge from Gil Dudson, who picks up the ball for Catalans from the kick-off.

Gannon's night is surely over. He's very dazed indeed.

  15. PENALTYpublished at 26 mins

    Catalans 2-0 Leeds

Sam Tomkins successfully kicks the first points of the night - and his 47th goal of the season - to nudge Catalans ahead.

However, how important will that Mitchell Pearce yellow card be? Can Leeds make their player advantage count before the break?

  16. Postpublished at 26 mins

    Catalans 0-0 Leeds

This is a highly charged game of rugby league and it's as edgy as you can get for a play-off eliminator.

Leeds started well but right now there's not a lot in this. But there's been a lot of stoppages.

Meanwhile, Catalans win a penalty in kicking range and Sam Tomkins has decided to go for two.

  17. SIN-BINpublished at 24 mins

    Catalans 0-0 Leeds

Catalans have Mitchell Pearce sent to the bin after he ran in on James Bentley, having shoved Michael McIlorum off the ball.

No sign of any card shown to Bentley or McIlorum, however.

A blow for Catalans, who had looked like they were growing into the game just before that happened.

  18. Postpublished at 23 mins

    Catalans 0-0 Leeds

Ben Garcia puts a neat kick in on the last tackle to the corner as Catalans attack, but Leeds regain the ball.

Meanwhile, there's another bit of afters - this time off the ball - following a clash between Mitchell Pearce, James Bentley and Michael McIlorum.

  19. Postpublished at 20 mins

    Catalans 0-0 Leeds

Dylan Napa once again puts in a robust, high challenge, this time on Tom Briscoe.

The Catalans prop is given a warning from referee James Child and play continues.

  20. Postpublished at 19 mins

    Catalans 0-0 Leeds

Catalans do keep Leeds out after another set and they break upfield with the home crowd slowly getting behind them.

Mitchell Pearce almost touches down under the sticks but he's held up at the last minute.

Better stuff from the hosts, who've looked a bit nervy in these opening stages.
