    In the first half Leeds' defence was fantastic and they put Wigan in a position where they didn't know what to do.

    Leeds found an answer for everything they threw at them.

    Leeds have deserved this. In the first half you would not believe they were only two points behind, but their resilience in defence against the Wigan threats was excellent.

    That perseverence allowed them to go in at half-time, and when they came out the first 10 minutes was the pivotal time.

    Bevan French was injured, John Bateman was sent off, and Leeds scored two converted tries. The game was flipped.

    All over at the DW Stadium and, in less than a full season in charge, Rohan Smith has led Leeds Rhinos to the Super League Grand Final.

    It wasn't to be for Wigan who, despite dominating the first half, let Leeds in in the second half.

    Ultimately, John Bateman's red card for a high tackle on Aidan Sezer proved decisive as WIgan's unbeaten home run came to an end.

    Leeds have earned the right to be in a Grand Final through their defence.

    Kai Pearce-Paul picks up an offload and darts towards the try-line but he's surrounded and held up by four Leeds players.

    All over, surely.

    Try number two for James Bentley and it comes after the ball deflects fortuituously for Leeds who went on the attack, earning them another set of six.

    It falls to Cameron Smith who feeds Bentley to go over unopposed. Zak Hardaker adds the two.

    How have Wigan let this slip through their fingers after their first half performance?

    An amazing run upfield from Wigan on the wing as Liam Marshall makes chase and kicks forwards under pressure.

    Jai Field gets on the end of it and carries it further before attempting a desperate offload but Marshall can't quite get on the end of it once more.

    Aidan Sezer, somewhat unsurprisingly, has failed his head injury assessment after that red card tackle from John Bateman.

    That also means he would miss the Super League Grand Final if Leeds see out the win against Wigan.

    Leeds have got a real big five minutes here because the Wigan fans are fired up because everything is going against them.

    No try given on the field as Wigan get the ball down in the corner via Liam Marshall.

    It comes from Harry Smith's kick on the turnover and Marshall does well to get to it before it bounces out.

    Video referee Ben Thaler studies angle after angle but he chalks off his attempt after deciding he'd just lost control of the ball before bringing it down.

    Wigan have their tails up as they win a penalty deep in the Leeds half of the field.

    They work it left and right with Tommy Leuluai putting a fabulous grubber kick in towards goal before James Bentley is called into action to deal with the danger before Kai Pearce-Paul can touch down in the corner.
