"Can I have the ball?" the TV cameras pick up a young supporter pleading.

What it's all about, I think he gets his souvenir too.

Two minutes remain. England keep their concentration and intercept to break up a Fiji attack yet again.

Dom Young has been awarded the player of the match.

Very few will disagree with that decision.

    Ryan Hall

Nope, but England still want more.

They attack down the left before the ball eventually falls into the safe hands of the bleached Ryan Hall who crosses to give England a 50-point lead.

Harry Smith can't add the extra points. It won't make a difference.

Another scrum on the halfway line. Will Fiji finally make something happen?

Nine minutes to go. Will England break fifty?

The intensity has gone. It's all a bit flat to be honest.

It's a different England team now after another round of replacements.

Fiji win a scrum on the halfway line.

    England 46-0 Fiji

It's been a good 10 minutes since England's last try. Shaun Wane's side are happy to control the game and work through their plans.

    England 46-0 Fiji

Fiji have a fresh set in a strong position. But immediately they start with a sloppy knock-on. There's no confidence in the visiting camp.

The Tryline: Think we all expected far more from an opponent like Fiji, but sure they will be better next week with more NRL reinforcements to come in.

The opposition won't be much easier, though. Just the small matter of Australia first up for Fiji next Saturday...

    England 46-0 Fiji

A slick England move ends with them just short and Fiji stand firm to deny the hosts.

Much stronger defence than what we've been seeing. Can they build on this and get on to the scoreboard?

Liam Marshall has impressed since coming into the fold - the Wigan man isn't in England's World Cup squad, but was called up for this game to give coach Shaun Wane some more selection options as several players are being rested.

He calmly collects a Fiji grubber and drives out with some blistering acceleration. Twenty minutes to go.

You can only beat the oppo in front of you, but I wonder if England will be frustrated with the lack of challenge so far tonight?

Or am I just being overly harsh, or wrong even? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts. Hit me up on #bbcrl.

    Mike Cooper, goal Marc Sneyd

So, so poor from Fiji. Marc Sneyd feeds Mike Cooper who is tackled on the line but keeps his ball-carrying arm in the air.

He's then free to roll over and score with Fiji's defenders standing still.
