Quote MessageThat Gibbins try could be a huge moment in the match and a huge moment in Glasgow's season. They are fortunate to go in at half time just five points down
HT: La Rochelle 18-13 Glasgow
If Glasgow are going to get back into this game they need to sort two issues. Firstly, the breakdown, where they've been totally dominated. Secondly, they need to get round La Rochelle's blitz defence on the outside. Too often their kicking has been poor, or they've been forced inside and knocked backwards.

Quote MessageIt's an outstanding lineout from Glasgow and it's hugely important. They finish the half the way they started it. 18-13 has a very different look from 18-6 going into half-time.
Callum Gibbins
A crucial response!
Glasgow finally get some good field position as they kick a penalty to the corner. They gather well at the lineout and their driving maul rumbles over with ease, with Callum Gibbins at the bottom of it.
Adam Hastings converts to haul Glasgow right back into the match.

Quote MessageIt's a cheap score for Warriors to concede just before half time. The Warriors pack will be absolutely fuming
Zeno Kieft
That's a shocker.
La Rochelle's lineout is stolen by Glasgow lock Scott Cummings as he bats it back, but the bouncing ball bamboozles DTH Van der Merwe and the La Rochelle blindside flanker Kieft manages to gather and smash his way over.
Jules Plisson misses the extras, but that was calamitous by Glasgow.
La Rochelle 13-6 Glasgow
The captains, Callum Gibbins and Victor Vito, are given a stern talking to by referee Luke Pearce after another round of fisticuffs. The squads are obviously looking forward to the Joshua v Ruiz re-match later...
La Rochelle 13-6 Glasgow
Another searing attack from deep involving Vincent Rattez takes La Rochelle to within metres of the line, but a knock on as they ship it wide allows Glasgow to pounce and get the ball clear.
Up the other end, Glasgow pinch the ball before being turned over yet again. They're being destroyed at the breakdown at the moment.
La Rochelle 13-3 Glasgow
Rory Lawson
Former Scotland captain on BBC Radio Scotland
Quote MessageLa Rochelle have done well. They've consolidated things and every time they've had possession in Glasgow's half they've came away with points. Glasgow need to find a footing
Adam Hastings
Hastings fires the ball over and Glasgow are back within a score having been dominated so far.
La Rochelle 13-3 Glasgow
Adam Hastings sprints through a gap and now Glasgow are on the attack! He finds DTH Van der Merwe on the wing but the Canadian is brought down, and after the ball is worked left, La Rochelle turn the ball over, but then Mathieu Tanguy is penalised for grabbing round the neck.Hastings will look to reduce the deficit here...
La Rochelle 13-3 Glasgow
La Rochelle are really turning the screw as they get a penalty at the scrum, but from the resulting lineout Glasgow manage to hold them up, and they'll now get the put-in at the scrum.
"I've had a lot of requests from you," referee Luke Pearce says to Glasgow's Fraser Brown.
Jules Plisson
A magnificent kick from 43m goes straight between the posts. Plisson has certainly brought his kicking boots, and if Glasgow's discipline doesn't improve he'll continue to punish them.
La Rochelle 10-3 Glasgow
It's deja vu for Glasgow at the moment. They try to go wide, but La Rochelle's blitz forces them inside and it's a yellow jersey that gets over the ball to win the penalty. Jules Plisson will line up a long-range attempt at goal.
Jules Plisson
The France fly-half bissects the posts from wide left and the hosts are really motoring now...
La Rochelle 7-3 Glasgow
La Rochelle fly-half Jules Plisson is giving a masterclass in kicking so far, as he hoists one high which is gathered by Vincent Rattez. A few phases later Niko Matawalu is penalised for being off his feet at the ruck, and Plisson will go for three points...
La Rochelle 7-3 Glasgow
Fraser Brown gets Glasgow out of jail! The hooker gets himself over the ball like a limpet and extracts the penalty for holding on. It allows Adam Hastings to clear and the Warriors can breathe again.
La Rochelle 7-3 Glasgow
Shocking kick from Tommy Seymour, now playing at full-back of course, which goes out on the full. His anticipation and catch were excellent, but once more the execution of the kick is poor.
La Rochelle get field position and now have the penalty, which they kick to the corner.
