It was embarrassing. The rot set in after Fagerson's try. Glasgow looked totally spooked, the error count went through the roof, and Exeter were brilliantly ruthless. The Warriors have been blown out of the water.

    Exeter 52-17 Glasgow

It's very easy to forget that at one point in the second half Glasgow led 17-14. They fell apart unceremoniously after that though, and Exeter have avenged their defeat at Scotstoun in December, running in eight tries.

    Dave Ewers

I think this is what's known as a rout.

Another first-phase play sees Exeter slice through Glasgow with ease. From close range Dave Ewers drives over the line and adds to the visitors' misery.

    Kick successful.

    Jack Nowell

Glasgow are being torn apart now, and Jack Nowell is the latest man to get on the scoresheet for Exeter.

Absolutely electric pace from the Cornishman, but it was all a bit easy.

Conversion added, and Exeter will be targeting 50 points before full-time.

    Exeter 38-17 Glasgow

Exeter are really enjoying themselves now - Stuart Hogg in particular is playing with a huge smile on his face.

Scotland's captain thought Sam Simmonds had scored another try, but the referee had already blown for a forward pass.

    Tom O'Flaherty

    It's a hat-trick for Tom O'Flaherty!

Another first-phase play sees Stuart Hogg put O'Flaherty into space down the left, and despite the attention of three Glasgow defenders, he bundles his way over in the corner.

    Conversion missed.

Glasgow simply have to score next.

A box kick from George Horne sails straight out on the full - that won't help the visitors' cause.

    Luke Cowan-Dickie

    This is relentless!

Exeter maul their way to the Glasgow line and the captain Luke Cowan-Dickie scores in the corner.

Joe SImmonds can't add the extras on this occasion.

It's the clinical nature of Exeter. Sam Simmonds makes yards, and then Henry Slade finds Joe Simmonds with a lovely slight of hand. The cross-field kick finds O'Flaherty and it's an easy score in the end.

    Tom O'Flaherty

    Bang bang!

Joe Simmonds receives the ball off the back of the scrum, and shows great vision to spot Tom O'Flaherty in acres of space on the left wing. O'Flaherty allows the ball to bounce before gathering it to score the easiest of tries.

    Simmonds converts.

    Exeter 21-17 Glasgow

A really scrappy passage of play ends with an Exeter scrum 5m out from the Glasgow line.

Josh McKay couldn't collect a kick through from Jack Nowell, and was eventually forced over his own line by the onrushing Exeter players.

    Sam Simmonds

    It's that man again!

From a tap-and-go penalty, Sam Simmonds gets really low, forces his way through Kiran McDonald to score, and swings the lead Exeter's way once more.

    Conversion successful.

Exeter are now camped on Glasgow's line, but cannot force their way through the Warriors' defence.

Kiran McDonald holds Dave Ewers up as he looked to drive over the line.

    Exeter will come again though...

Ali Price picks out Matt Fagerson, who runs some gorgeous lines, and Tom O'Flaherty cannot stop the Glasgow man from diving over to score.

    Matt Fagerson

Great move and great composure from Glasgow!

From a scrum in centre-field the visitors make quick ground. Ali Price then picks a wonderful pass that takes out several defenders and puts Matt Fagerson into space.

The big back rower is never going to miss from there.

    Ross Thompson adds the conversion.

Rory Darge tackles Tom O'Flaherty when it seemed inevitable that the winger would race away. Every intervention that Darge makes is impressive.

He's surely not far away from forcing himself into Gregor Townsend's starting XV...

Glasgow haven't managed to get their strike runners into the game as much as they would have wanted so far, and that is credit to Exeter.

The Warriors need to get the likes of Sione Tuipulotu and Jack Dempsey quick ball in the second half if they are to take anything away from Sandy Park.
