Freezing temperatures disrupted many of last weekend’s fixtures in the Premier 15s. However the cold didn’t bother Exeter Chiefs as they dominated Loughborough Lightning 54-5, securing a third straight win. The Chiefs picked up a bonus point which moved them up into second place in the league, only four points behind leaders Gloucester-Hartpury.

Exeter Chiefs will welcome Harlequins to Sandy Park this weekend, the Quins are also on a winning streak after two consecutive wins against Saracens and most recently a 40-3 triumph over a previously unbeaten Sale Sharks. With the return of Red Roses Shaunagh Brown the Quins that sit only a point below Exeter will be a tough team to beat. Expect a Christmas Cracker of a match this weekend.
