    Edinburgh 19-14 Sharks

Ben Vellacott kicks the ball to touch, and the players head for the sheds.

It's been a gripping first half - Edinburgh were comfortably second best, but have sprung to life in the last 12 minutes or so, scoring three tries, and wrestling the initiative back.

    Henry Immelman

    What a turnaround!!

The crowd is on their feet. Edinburgh's kick chase sees James Lang win a ball he had no right to.

From there, Boan Venter throws a wonderful pass out wide to Henry Immelman, who races down the left touchline and acrobatically dots down in the corner.

Charlie Savala's conversion is just shy on this occasion.

A double for the Edinburgh hooker - they've turned it around!

The maul hadn't quite worked before then, but the hosts bide their time, and slowly but surely drive their way over the Sharks line.

Charlie Savala slots the conversion, and we're all square.

    Edinburgh 7-14 Sharks

A wonderful kick from Henry Immelman bobbles out of play before Aphelele Fassi can get across, and that's a 50-22 for the hosts.

    They have a lineout 5m out - it's a great opportunity...

It's all a bit scrappy. Both teams are trying to force things.

Bill Mata gets Edinburgh on the front foot with a typically strong carry, but Sharks turn over possession in the next phase.

    Edinburgh are back in this!

Ben Vellacott finds Boan Venter, who runs a superb line through a hole, and the home prop offloads wonderfully to Adam McBurney, who holds off a despairing tackle to score.

    Charlie Savala's conversion sails through.

Edinburgh look a bit lost in attack.

They're lacking structure and are struggling to break the Sharks line.

    Edinburgh 0-14 Sharks

After a stoppage to allow both sides to run repairs, Edinburgh have a lineout inside the Sharks half.

    Marnus Potgieter

The Edinburgh defence is breached again.

Aphelele Fassi does superbly to offload in the tackle, and from there, Marnus Potgieter pins his ears back to score in the corner.

An excellent conversion from Curwin Bosch stretches the lead to 14 points.

    A marauding prop - what a sight!

Ox Nche hands-off Ben Vellacott and barrels away down the left wing, before finding Grant Williams on his shoulder.

Wes Goosen stops the Sharks nine, but illegally, and gets a yellow card for his troubles.

    Edinburgh 0-7 Sharks

Edinburgh cough up possession from their own lineout, and the chance is gone.

Only some desperate scrambling defence then prevents Sharks from scoring a length of the field try.

    I'm exhausted just watching this.

    Edinburgh 0-7 Sharks

Some bruising carries take Edinburgh to within 5m of the Sharks line, but we will come back for an offside penalty.

Hamish Watson, as ever, is in the thick of things.

    Edinburgh 0-7 Sharks

I was just typing that there wasn't much happening when Grant Williams poached that Charlie Savala pass.

Let's hope the try sparks this game into life.

Edinburgh win a penalty after James Venter fails to release, and Savala kicks into the Sharks 22.
