    Glasgow 0-3 Stormers

Glasgow are straight on the front foot following that concession, and win a penalty.

They aren't interested in the three points on offer... Tom Jordan kicks to the corner.

Through it goes, and the visitors have the lead.

  3. Postpublished at 19 mins

    Glasgow 0-0 Stormers

Sione Tuipulotu is penalised for an infringement at the breakdown, and Stormers will have a pop at goal.

  4. Postpublished at 16 mins

    Glasgow 0-0 Stormers

    Oh dear, Tom Jordan.

Stormers are pinged for offside, but Glasgow's 10 misses touch.

    It's a big let-off.

  5. Postpublished at 14 mins

    Glasgow 0-0 Stormers

Considering there's still not been a score, this has been a fantastic watch so far.

Glasgow win a scrum penalty, and kick into Stormers territory.

  6. Postpublished at 12 mins

    Glasgow 0-0 Stormers

Almost one of the great Glasgow tries.

It's all about Sebastian Cancelliere, who drops a shoulder and bursts through a gap.

He makes his way into the Stormers 22, but the final pass is behind George Horne, and the South African outfit survive.

  7. Postpublished at 9 mins

    Glasgow 0-0 Stormers

Stormers lineout goes all wrong, allowing Johnny Matthews to collect at the back and barrel his way over halfway.

A clever cross-field kick then finds Sebastian Cancelliere in open space, but the Argentine flyer knocks-on under zero pressure.

This game is being played at a breathless pace, which is forcing a few unforced errors.

  8. Postpublished at 6 mins

    Glasgow 0-0 Stormers

It's very noticeable how much width Glasgow are looking to play with in the early exchanges, trying to bypass Stormers' rush defence.

George Horne then wins a penalty at the back of a ruck, and Glasgow kick their way towards the opposition 22.

  9. Postpublished at 2 mins

    Glasgow 0-0 Stormers

A confident start from Glasgow, as Sione Tuipulotu throws a lovely miss pass to release Kyle Rowe down the left.

Rowe makes his way deep into Stormers territory but is isolated and concedes a penalty at the breakdown.

One player to watch out for tonight is Stormers centre Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu.

The 21-year-old centre has just been described as a mix of Handre Pollard and Manie Libbok on Viaplay's build-up.

Quick, skilful and with an eye for the try-line, expect to see him in a Springboks jersey in the not-too-distant future.

  12. Repeat of last season?published at 19:29 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2023

    Glasgow Warriors v Stormers (19:35)

If we see anything like the drama that we saw in this fixture last season, then we're in for a real treat tonight.

Sebastian Cancelliere scored a wonderful late try to secure a 24-17 victory for Glasgow back in January.

Cancelliere and Glasgow would love a repeat performance and result.

  13. Jones and Steyn absent for Glasgowpublished at 19:25 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2023

    Glasgow Warriors v Stormers (19:35)

Scotland internationals Huw Jones and Kyle Steyn miss out for Glasgow through injuries picked up in Saturday's 34-26 defeat away to Connacht.

But back row Matt Fagerson, centre Sione Tuipulotu and full-back Ollie Smith return from Scotland World Cup duty to make their first club appearances of the season.

Head coach Franco Smith makes seven changes in all to his starting line-up, with hooker Johnny Matthews also making his first start of the season after coming off the bench in Glasgow's opening two matches of the campaign.

Greg Peterson comes into the second row after coming on as a replacement in Galway, Matt Fagerson comes in at blindside flanker, with Rory Darge promoted from the bench to start on the openside.

Stafford McDowall captains the side from inside centre in the absence of the injured Kyle Steyn, partnering the returning Tuipulotu, and Sebastian Cancelliere returns to the back three.

  15. Smith relishing 'huge challenge' against Stormerspublished at 19:16 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2023

    Glasgow Warriors v Stormers (19:35)

Glasgow Warriors head coach Franco Smith says his side face a "huge challenge" when they take on the Stormers, who he considers an "almost the complete team".

The South African visitors have reached the United Rugby Championship final in the last two seasons and currently top the table after two bonus-point wins - away to Lions and at home to Scarlets.

"It's a huge challenge," Smith told BBC Scotland. "They've got enough depth there not to be unsettled by the players that are unavailable.

"They are a class outfit, we know the way they play with some excellent individuals, they've played finals rugby in the last two years, they know how the business end of the season works and that will affect how they've prepared for the season."
