  1. Post update

    Wales 35-19 Barbarians

Wales clear their lines but the Barbarians keep coming.

That is until Tomos Williams does brilliantly to pluck a chipped kick out of the air.

Unfortunately for Wales the clearing kick went straight into touch so back they march to their own 10-metre line.

  2. Post update

    Wales 35-19 Barbarians

Wales are penalised at the scrum and the Barbarians kick to the corner.

The Baa-Baas line-out has struggled all afternoon, and it continues to late in the game as Wales steal back the ball.

  3. Post update

    Wales 35-19 Barbarians

Amongst all the chaos of the last few minutes, it has been the Barbarians who have been on the march.

They are down to the Welsh 22 once again and have a scrum from which they will look to attack from.

Just over 10 minutes to go in Cardiff.

    Ian Gough

Former Wales international on BBC Radio Wales

One of the reasons Leigh Halfpenny was so important for us under Warren Gatland was that he would win us games and keep us in games as well!

He just had that range. What a good bloke, as talented as he is, what a great guy on and off the field.

    He'll be sorely missed.

  5. Post update

    Wales 35-19 Barbarians

I should have added, Kieran Hardy came on for Leigh Halfpenny.

As a result Tomos Williams moves to fly-half and Cai Evans is at full-back.

  6. Replacements

    Wales 35-19 Barbarians

    Two more Baa-Baas changes.

Lautaro Bazan Velez and Ben Donaldson are the new half-back pairing.

Simione Kuruvoli and Nicolas Sanchez make way.

  7. A fine end to Halfpenny's international career

    Wales 35-19 Barbarians

A standing ovation here at the Principality Stadium as Leigh Halfpenny's game comes to an end.

It marks the end of his 101-cap international career for Wales, the third highest scoring player for the country ever.

And a fine end to the career it is, as he kicks all five conversions and makes some trademark tackles.

    All the best Leigh.

Alun Wyn Jones embraces Leigh Halfpenny

    Wales 35-19 Barbarians

    Ian Gough

Former Wales international on BBC Radio Wales

Fair play to Aaron Wainwright, he's only just picked up his ribs from that late hit.

Some great play by Tomos Williams who's showing his skills and Tomos Rogers exploding onto the ball and showing his strength to get the assist for Aaron Wainwright.

  9. Converted try - Wales 35-19 Barbarians

    Aaron Wainwright, con Leigh Halfpenny

Aaron Wainwright is over for another Wales try!

I have to say I think Wales are a bit fortunate here, as Taine Plumtree blocks a Baa-Baas defender from tackling Tom Rogers in the build up.

But the home crowd do not care one bit, and the Scarlets wing did excellently to break a tackle and offload to the Dragons back row for the score.

Leigh Halfpenny's perfect afternoon with the boot continues.

  10. Post update

    Wales 28-19 Barbarians

    Ian Gough

Former Wales international on BBC Radio Wales

You play anything at slow-motion it'll look worse.

It does look a bit late but if you play it at full speed there may not be much in it.

He has levelled Aaron Wainwright who's got the dirtiest mustache I've seen, partnered with the bleach blonde hair.

  11. Post update

    Wales 28-19 Barbarians

Wales unsurprisingly kick their penalty to the corner and turn to the driving maul.

The Barbarians are penalised and Wales take the penalty quickly.

They are turning to the forwards once again a few metres out.

  12. Post update

    Wales 28-19 Barbarians

    Ian Gough

Former Wales international on BBC Radio Wales

Aaron Shingler was competing at the Saundersfoot triathlon a few months ago, trying his hand at that.

He's had more comebacks than Shane Williams!

  13. Sin-bin - Asafo Aumua

    Wales 28-19 Barbarians

Barbarians replacement front row Asafo Aumua is the second player to be shown a yellow card this afternoon.

His late hit on Aaron Wainwright is worthy of a card in referee Andrea Piardi's eyes and it is now Wales with the man advantage.

  14. Replacements

    Wales 28-19 Barbarians

    Two changes for the Barbarians.

Another Welshman is on, as Aaron Shingler replaces Rob Valentini.

Andrew Kellaway is also on at full-back for Ilasia Droasese.

  15. Post update

    Wales 28-19 Barbarians

    Ian Gough

Former Wales international on BBC Radio Wales

Where Wales have been good today, the tempo of the line-out and set-pieces has been brilliant.

They've exploited that the Barbarians defence needs a bit of time to breathe and prepare.

  16. Post update

    Wales 28-19 Barbarians

The Barbarians go long with the line-out, but their attack is halted by an adventurous offload which is too high for Shaun Stevenson to gather.

Wales will have the line-out in their own 22.

  17. Jones to pantomime villain

    Wales 28-19 Barbarians

The Principality Stadium bursts into a chorus of boos every time Eddie Jones appears on the big screen.

The crowd here have not forgot his time as England head coach it seems.

    Eddie Jones
  18. Post update

    Wales 28-19 Barbarians

The Barbarians are back on the front foot, and Nicolas Sanchez kicks a penalty into the Welsh 22.

  19. Post update

    Wales 28-19 Barbarians

    Ian Gough

Former Wales international on BBC Radio Wales

The try looked a bit suspicious on first glance and Alun Wyn Jones was straight away to the referee.

Jones can argue all he wants, the referee has given it!

  20. Post update

    Wales 28-19 Barbarians

The try almost springs Wales into life, but as Rio Dyer looks to break down the left wing he steps into touch.

Line-out to the Baa-Baas just inside their own half.
