Well that's all from me this evening!

What a comeback from Edinburgh but hats off to Zebre for not going down without a fight and to come away with a point.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, we will be back tomorrow with coverage of the Glasgow Warriors v Dragons game!

    Hope to see you then!

    FT: Zebre 16-24 Edinburgh

Talking to Viaplay, player of the match Viliame Mata said

"Coming here with Zebre having the home advantage, it was really tough. Zebre gave us a tough match and towards the end we struggled a bit with lack of execution but we got a win away from home."

  3. Food for thought for Townsendpublished at 21:46 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February

    FT: Zebre 16-24 Edinburgh

Ben Healy continued to impress and extended his lead as top points kicker in the URC - could this be a signal to Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend to stop using him as a bench warmer?

Jamie Ritchie did well as captain. He had some dominant turnovers throughout the game and remain level headed. Could Townsend turn to him against England with Luke Crosbie out?

  4. 'Lack of accuracy on our side'published at 21:39 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February

    FT: Zebre 16-24 Edinburgh

Talking to Viaplay Edinburgh head coach Sean Everitt said

"It was a tough 55 minutes for us, actually you could call it 65 if you want. Credit to Zebre, they came out, they stopped our momentum and disrupted our breakdown and we couldn't get any continuity going or any momentum on our carries either.

"I thought they defended really well and on top of that they put us under pressure which led to us being ill disciplined in the first half and we conceded 13 turnovers. We had the opportunity to get into Zebre's 22 - which we did on six occasions in the first half - but we were only able to get points on one. It was a lack of accuracy on our side but credit to them, they put up a massive fight. Fortunately our set-piece pulled us through at the end there and we managed to get the result."

  5. Full-time Zebre 19-24 Edinburghpublished at 21:27 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February

And that will be that. A win on the road for Sean Everitt's side but Zebre should hold their heads high as Edinburgh were trailing for much of the game.

Both teams had moments of scrappy play and it did look like the Italians were going to hold off Edinburgh but Dave Cherry was unstoppable off the back of the maul to secure the win.

Four massively important points to the Scots will be all that matters to them, not how they got there.

Geronimo Prinsciantelli has the final say as the ball sails through the uprights - it's not enough to catch the Scots but gives them a bonus point.
