    Kilmarnock 0-1 Hamilton Accies

"We didn't deserve to win the game - it wasn't a good match at all. We didn't create enough, we were a bit toothless at the top of the pitch. We had some very good individual performances, my goalkeeper was very good all day, but if you don't do the basics right, keeping possession of the ball, you're going to have problems.

"As the game wore on, Hamilton grew into it and we've made committed a couple of horrendous errors to give the penalty away. It's a very disappointing day, another cup competition where we've gone out with a whimper."

    Kilmarnock 0-1 Hamilton

"We've been done by [late goals] a few times ourselves in the league this season, so it feels nice to get the benefit of it.

"It looked [like it was heading for a replay], but in the game we were the slightly better team, we created more opportunities. But we didn't think the goal was going to come.

"We had enough opportunities, but it looked like it was going to be one of those days. The boys kept working hard and thankfully we got our reward. The boys in the middle of the park were good, and we defended really well. That gave us a platform to go on and win the game."

  5. Elgin City boss Jim Weirpublished at 17:51

    Elgin City 1-2 Inverness CT

"I'm absolutely thrilled with the effort. Getting the first goal was maybe key for us but we lost the goal too early after going in front.

"Second half Caley controlled the game but unfortunately we couldn't get that second.

"If we'd got to half-time with that one goal lead obviously a bit of fear goes into their game as well.

"They were worthy winners and what a fantastic crowd, it just shows the potential of this football club."

  6. Aberdeen boss Derek McInnespublished at 17:45

    Aberdeen 4-0 Stranraer

"Even if the first goal didn't come as early as we wanted, we kept doing the right things. We had movement ahead of the ball in McLean and Rooney, McGinn and Hayes.

"It was difficult for Stranraer to cope with."

    Elgin City 1-2 Inverness CT

"Character: credit to them. It's been a tricky season so far. Weaker players or a weaker team would've folded having gone 1-0 down. They would've panicked. We never did. We controlled most of the game, particularly the second half.

"In cup football there are always upsets - there wasn't one here today - so I'm delighted."

"It was a very good performance and the attitude was great. Some sloppy moments in the first half but the second half was excellent.

Partick Thistle turn in a thoroughly professional performance to clinch their place in the fifth round. The Premiership side had too much class for their Highland League opponents. A double for Chris Erskine and a goal each for Steven Lawless and Abdul Osman ensure a comfortable victory at Firhill.
