What about that brown in the middle pocket when he's under the cosh. What a brace decision to take it on. And the clearance is nothing short of world class.

Talk about drama, there is some rumbling from back stage. Referee Olivier Marteel is shouting to ask for quiet.

Neil Robertson is showing Judd Trump exactly what he is made of here. It's twitchy but he's still going and heading towards 50.

    Frame 18: Trump 9-8 Robertson

    What. A. Pot.

Judd Trump zips in a long opener to get going with his knuckles barely on the table.

Neil Robertson looks pretty glum in his chair. Nothing he can do sat there.

Judd Trump will not care how he wins. He is just a winning machine so that becomes the most important point but you can never discount Neil Robertson.

    Frame 17: Trump 9-8 Robertson

Even Neil Robertson cracks a smile at that...

Judd Trump pings the white round the angles and nudges the final red off the cushion with the aid of the right middle knuckle.

He can't sweep up the colours but he looked pretty good there. He's just one frame off now.

    Frame 17: Trump 8-8 Robertson

    Neil Robertson goes for it...

They look amazing when they come off but he has not got away with this. He's an inch or so out of finding the bottom left corner and he's left the red hovering over the right corner.

Judd Trump should tidy up from here.

    Frame 17: Trump 8-8 Robertson

Concentration is etched across Judd Trump's face here. He's up to 47 and leads by 53 overall.

What does he do here? Long safety off the brown or a tempting but difficult cut on the black. Safety first.

There's 75 left on the table and Neil Robertson is up to eye a possible diy plant.

    How did that not drop?

Neil Robertson grimaces as a longish attempt to the bottom left bag goes awry.

Judd Trump's right in the balls.

So we're down to a best of three.

Albeit a fairly inauspicious start, well false start, which is basically another way of saying we have had a re-rack.

JT knock in a long red once we get going again and then takes the blue but then he's out of position. Neil Robertson can breathe a huge sigh of relief.
