Mark has had an unbelievable week, he's played great, had some titanic matches to get to where he's got to, put a lot of effort in to get there.
But he was beaten by the better player in the final - it's the best I've ever seen Luca Brecel play.
We talk about the shot selection and the way he plays the game, the one thing you need with that is an inordinate amount of talent and he's got that.

Don't hang around, don't study every shot, see the shot, go for it, trust your first instincts.
He's the first player who has led from the front relentlessly so it could make a difference, maybe the old style is ever so slightly changing.

I'm delighted for his family as well - his father who we've all known for many years. He's been long suffering over the years with his son perhaps playing a type of snooker that was too open and everybody saying he should change.
He resisted the temptation to do what people told him he should do, they stuck to their guns and stayed in Belgium and I'm delighted for them all - it's great to see somebody play swashbuckling snooker but with balance as well and push the game to even more new limits than we thought possible.

He's been a breath of fresh air through this tournament. It's a refreshing thing to watch. He goes for his shots, he doesn't care if he misses but he pots more than he's entitled to.

New world champion Luca Brecel to BBC Two:
"It's amazing, I can't see any more, I don't know why.
"So tough, he's the worst opponent to have in a final, he just keeps coming back, he's such a fighter, when it was 16-15 I didn't fancy winning at all, I was missing balls by a mile but then I made a good break.
"Snooker is a difficult sport, in the first round I could have lost to Ricky Walden but I won 10-9 - small margins in snooker, it's crazy.
"I really have the best team, best friends, best parents and best girlfriend in the world which makes me strong on the table, if you don't have that team it's difficult to play the best game.
"I won't practice for a couple of weeks, months, just going to enjoy this - it's been a crazy week, no practice just partying, it shouldn't be legal!"
On snooker in Europe: "It's going to explode, I was so nervous because I wanted it to happen for Belgium and Europe and now I can't wait to see what it brings, I'm so happy I did it."
