    So here are the six contenders for BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2019:

    Dina Asher-Smith, Lewis Hamilton, Katarina Johnson-Thompson, Alun Wyn Jones, Raheem Sterling and Ben Stokes.

    The big event takes place on Sunday 15 December at Aberdeen's P&J Live arena.
