This set so important. If Edmund were to lose it that is when the tie score, the external factor of being 1-0 down, can get into your head.

Kyle Edmund has a little bit of a pickle to get out of at 15-30 down, but he fronts up admirably.
Once Edmund gets the groundstrokes swinging, Guido Pella struggles to stay with him.

You can see Pella has relaxed a bit, there have been a few shots that show he has loosened up a bit.

The Yorkshireman takes a wild swing at an easy front-court bounce and heads long and wide to allow Guido Pella back to 30-30.
He is not going to be made to pay for the error though.

Edmund's obvious strength is his forehand and he has continued to improve that but the backhand has become much more solid.
We have seen that in these first few games.
He has stepped in and hit through his backhand.
