I see it as a benefit that Chung had that medical timeout. It just pauses everything and it might slow Federer down a fraction. It might allow Chung to get a few more games.

Phil Beck: Chung is good, that's not in question, but he's so raw. Faced so many break points against weaker opposition throughout the tournament but got away with it. Federer is ruthless, and is punishing him.

David Thackeray: Chung will not give up without a fight and will chase every ball. Not over yet, and 15 years could take its toll if Chung could take a set.

It looks heavily strapped. It's the ball of the foot, on the bone which leads to the big toe. Any time he was trying to slide it would radiate pain.

It's not just the foot that's hurting. He's not matching up well with Federer.

    Federer 6-1 4-1 Chung*

Hyeon Chung has his trainer on, he's looked a little uncomfortable throughout this semi-final - a shadow of the charismatic youngster who shocked Novak Djokovic earlier in the tournament.

    Blisters are the suggestion? Ouchy.

This is almost uncomfortable to watch - such is the dominance of Roger Federer.

You feel a bit sorry for the opponent as there's nothing you can do. How can you play against this?

Not much Hyeon Chung can do about that ace. Postage stamp stuff from Roger Federer.

Another hold for the defending champion.

    *Federer 6-1 3-1 Chung

Federer is working Chung side to side like he's putting him through a bleep test - except this one comes with a punishing forehand winner at the end of it.

    Never got that at school.

A pacy Chung return proves to punchy for the Swiss at the net, and he then goes long with a forehand.

The Korean has found his footing - 40-30.

This is the second argument with the umpire in a couple of matches!

Feisty Federer, eh? He doesn't let anything go.

What happened there? Chung gets the point, Federer isn't happy.

He questions the umpire, who said the call came after Federer hit the shot.

Still two break points to go. Federer's response is to curl this one on the backhand side beyond the despairing Korean.

Not known for their poetry, the Swiss.

Great chocolate, wonderful watches and, well, fantastic tennis players.

Roger Federer shows just why he is the greatest export of all with a thumping forehand winner that just flirted with the line.

Chung scuttles towards the net and pops an uncomfortable backhand into the tape - 0-30.

Well, this is relentless from Roger Federer on serve at the minute.

    *Federer 6-1 1-1 Chung

Roger Federer can't coax a return beyond the net, it cracks the tape and drops on his side of the court.

Hyeon Chung toys with the 36-year-old, before Federer frames a one-handed backhand wide.

    He holds.

    Federer 6-1 1-0 Chung*

Hyeon Chung's service style is unique, he almost ends bent over double on his follow through.

The Korean is sprightly enough to spring back into a position to play the return, and he sticks a Federer short ball into the space left by the Swiss for a wonderful winner.

    30-15.
