40-0 in no time. And an ace to rub salt into the wounds. This is very, very comfortable for the top seed.

Fair play to Roberto, he's keeping himself in this... just.

A few decent serves do the job and he holds. Can he get anything from this Djokovic serve?

How do you get a ball by this guy? Bautista Agut is thinking in the other matches he's played he'd have won that point three times.

On Roberto Bautista Agut booking his stag do in Ibiza for the final weekend of Wimbledon:

    I think it's really strange.

It's just quite a defeatist attitude.

    It seems very, very odd.

    Djokovic 4-1 Bautista Agut*

Bautista Agut opens his shoulders and lets rip with a thumping forehand into the corner. But Djokovic is going nowhere. He pounces on a first serve, moves into the net and puts away a volley.

The Serb's defence is incredible and he rounds off an entertaining rally with a lob and another volley.

    Deuce.

Djokovic goes sliding across the court, losing his footing as he struggles to meet a perfectly-weighted drop shot.

But out comes the forehand, whizzing past Bautista Agut, to draw things level at 30-30. He holds with an ace down the T.

11 years ago I watched #Fedal with my Dad, we were both on the edge of the sofa with nerves and tension as the light was fading away! It was one of the last memories I have with him as he passed away a few days later, I will never ever forget that Wimbledon final Sunday.

I bet Bautista Agut is wishing he was on that Ibiza beach right now. This isn’t fun for him at all.

But the Centre Court fans are thrilled he’s finally on the scoreboard. They want a match, not a whitewash.

Phil Beck: Was hoping for a 4 or 5 set match here so Federer v Nadal is only just starting as I'm getting home from work. Djokovic breaking in RBA's first service game makes me think I'll be disappointed...

Adam Clift: This first semi-final could be very quick....and I’d quite like a long one so I can watch as much of FEDAL40 as possible...

Hugo Flaxman: Not hard to see which way this one is going. Bautista Agut just doesn’t have the serve to trouble Djokovic. I’m going for straight sets, even at this early stage.

I like Novak's approach. He's trying to break down that forehand and understand that Bautista Agut is vulnerable on the passing shot.

Mentally, Novak is in a totally different place at the Slams.

    Djokovic 3-0 Bautista Agut*

    Annabel Croft

Novak Djokovic will be trying to conserve as much energy as possible.

In the quarter-finals he was heaving in his chest. He was making some massive sighs and something wasn't right. But he looks very calm out here and very in control.

He knows he is the one with the experience in this match. Bautista Agut needs to get himself on the scoreboard quickly and settle himself down.
