Raducanu brings up break point with some more astute play to deal with Sakkari's hefty serve, but the Greek drags her back to deuce before a backhand sets up game point.

    Raducanu 3-0 Sakkari*

A double fault from Sakkari, who is yet to find her rhythm on serve, puts Raducanu in charge.

A whopping forehand from the Greek then moves her within a point of her first game, but the relentless Raducanu forces deuce with a marvellous drop shot. Stunning.

I think Maria Sakkari was telling the chair umpire her skirt was too tight, so she wanted to change it.

    Raducanu 3-0 Sakkari*

A solid start from Maria Sakkari as she looks to get up and running in this match. She smacks a cross-court forehand winner for 15-0, before having a little word with the umpire.

    Raducanu 3-0 Sakkari*

Another chance for Sakkari, but it's met by more great defensive work from Raducanu. The gutsy teenager turns things around to consolidate her early breakthrough.

A superb start for Raducanu! Does she know this is a Grand Slam semi-final?!

Maria Sakkari is getting frustrated already, she is already chattering away to her box - she is trying to inject too much pace to get through the defences of Emma Raducanu.

    *Raducanu 2-0 Sakkari

What will that do to Sakkari's mind? The Greek throws away all three of those opportunities and that's six break points not taken already. Deuce.

    *Raducanu 2-0 Sakkari

Maria Sakkari responds to that set-back with back-to-back forehand winners for 0-30 on the Raducanu serve.

Raducanu's movement is just so impressive, sliding out there on a hard court - I don't know how they do it, I can't even slide on a clay court. You see so many men doing it but it is coming into the women's game as well.

She has this incredibly wide base when she moves around the court, she is kind of in this constant squat or lunge position.

    *Raducanu 2-0 Sakkari

That's the start Raducanu would have been dreaming about.

An error from Sakkari, who now appears to be the one suffering from some early nerves, and she's a break down already.

    Raducanu 1-0 Sakkari*

Now then, let's see what the Sakkari serve is up to today.

Raducanu sticks in the point to take the opener in the Greek's game, but she goes long when given a look at a second serve. And now half a chance for Raducanu, as Sakkari nets under pressure from some hefty groundstrokes.

Double fault! And it's two break points to Raducanu this time...

They have had a few long rallies, which is always a good sign, it helps you settle down a little bit quicker.

    Raducanu 1-0 Sakkari*

A second ace puts the game within reach for Raducanu, and a loose backhand from Sakkari settles it.

A tough start very well handled by the 18-year-old.
