Time between points is now something the umpire should be looking at because Nadal likes to take ages and is that fair to someone who likes to play quickly?

The last Nadal service game was seven points, this one is just about to creep beyond that as Stefanos Tsitsipas grinds to deuce.

And now he has a break point chance, after Rafael Nadal punches long and looks furious with himself.

Such a change in the Nadal service games from the last set, where he didn't drop a point until the tie-break. He's pegged back to deuce once more by Tsitsipas here.

Nadal saunters into the tape and lashes away a smash on the bounce. A Tsitsipas return slides long on the next and the Spaniard has turned this game around.

But Tsitsipas is determined to not go anywhere. Deuce.

Stefanos Tsitsipas is playing some lovely stuff now - a punchy serve-sweeping forehand combo takes him to 40-15 and he holds with a rifle of a backhand.

Nadal flashes a forehand beyond Tsitsipas after the Greek is left scrambling for a pick-up.

The fifth seed gets his reward on the next, flicking a slice on to the net and dispatching the volley.

Hmm. Rafa strokes a backhand into the tape from the baseline, the error count is slowly creeping up for the Spaniard. He responds with a leaping serve that forces Tsitsipas long. 15-15.

And a fist pump from the fifth seed greats a smartly disguised forehand winner.

Rafael Nadal produces a very vocal response and forces the 22-year-old into a stray backhand, but Stefanos Tsitsipas creeps over the line to hold.

Were those break points the jolt Rafael Nadal needed? He looked completely in control at two sets up, but it's a different story now.

Every now and again you notice the crowd noise they pipe in. Sometimes you want it turned off - I'd like the seagulls turned off, although they seem to react when there's a fine piece of play.
