The mood soon changes however as it appears another individual has taken ill in the crowd. They are slowly helped out - and attention returns to a big game on the court...

Hubert Hurkacz - a semi-finalist last year - is scrapping to stay in it on Court Three.

The seventh seed is two sets down against Spanish world number 37 Alejandro Davidovich Fokina but has just broken serve to keep himself in the third set.

Hurkacz has pledged 100 euros per ace to support the people of Ukraine. He's hit 10 so far and it could be a few more if this goes to five sets...

The Polish player will have to wait for that though, with play just suspended on their court.

How frustrating for Norrie - but he had his chances.

Somebody has been taken ill in the crowd, which means play is going to be paused while they are attended to by the medics.

Three times Cameron Norrie has had match point, three times he has not taken it.

"Let's get it done before the rain," shouts out a spectator as the clouds over Court Two get darker and darker.

Andujar can only flick Norrie's powerful forehand into the foot of the net for Norrie's third match point.

An ace from Kwon goes thudding into the wall at the back of the court before he leaves Djokovic stranded behind the baseline with a swirling drop shot.

Djokovic blazes a forehand long, and Kwon is a game away from levelling up this match.

That's an excellent return from Kwon, racing around to pick up a Djokovic serve out wide and then watch his opponent go long in response.

Djokovic finds himself in some minor strife at 15-30 down before producing a couple of big serves, and he ends the run of games against him with another stonker out wide.

Cameron Norrie is one game away from the second round. That last game included his 10th ace, although he did later slip on the turf, losing his footing at the back of the court, but was OK to carry on and won the game with a cross-court winner.

We've barely begun on day one of Wimbledon, but the order of play is already out for the show courts tomorrow.
