    The stage is set.

The net-posts have been jacked into place, the net-cord has been tightened and the lines have been licked with paint.

A buzz of excitement around Centre Court already.

The earlybirds are already sat in their seats, sipping Pimms and nibbling on their picnic food.

The roof was slightly closed a few moments ago, presumably to stop the sun scorching the grass.

Rybakina's really aggressive. She has an amazing serve and pronation on the follow through is done very well. She’s the opposite of Jabeur in her personality – if she wins a point or not she stays the same.

She is truly an aggressive player and if Jabeur doesn’t keep up she will fall behind on the pace

She has represented the country since 2018 after they offered her funding which she credits with helping her become professional.

Elena Rybakina has flown under the radar for much of the Championships but she was in stunning form in the semi-finals.

She completely outplayed Simona Halep, champion here in 2019, and barely put a foot wrong on her Centre Court debut.

She had a breakthrough 2020, reaching four of five finals to start the season before the WTA season shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic.

What makes Jabeur so great is she can change her game, she can slice, she’s gotten better off the ground and that’s what she has to do – hit through the ball today.

It's really important for her to stay inside her game. She plays a lot like the older players used to play.
