Well there is still a chance US can get the two here...It all comes down to this - all of the chatter, all of the bravado, the criticism of his own team.

My word. It's going to come down to the final stone.
Mouat removes one American red but his one yellow spins out too.
John Shuster still has a incredibly difficult shot at forcing the extra end.

What we see is a man trying to hold on to his Olympic title.
Semi-final: USA 4-6 Great Britain (10th end)
The Americans have called a time-out. What can John Shuster magic up?
They need to come out of this situation, with two stones left to GB's one, with two reds closest to the middle to force an extra end.
Semi-final: USA 4-6 Great Britain (10th end)
They're doing OK so far, Emma.
The chatter is constant from the Americans. Bruce Mouat stands, silently assessing the situation.
Mouat blocks another route into the house with his penultimate stone.

Emma Jane Bradshaw: On a Zoom call with the curling on mute - turns out the commentary is SO crucial. I *think* we’re doing well? Who knows...
Semi-final: USA 4-6 Great Britain (10th end)
American Chris Plys delivers his final stone. "Beauty," says one of his team-mates. It gets in amongst the action but Great Britain still lie shot with two each to play.
Semi-final: USA 4-6 Great Britain (10th end)
Yes, Thomas. Yes, I am nervous.
Down comes another red American stone. The sweepers sweep furiously...
The result is Great Britain still lie two. They can afford to lose this end by one, remember.

'Come on GB,' is roared from the stands. They sense victory.
Four stones left each. Nervous?

That is a pretty much wasted stone for the US (from Matt Hamilton), when they do not have stones to waste.
Semi-final: USA 4-6 Great Britain (10th end)
There are more loud, passionate chats between the USA team. There is no doubt John Shuster is calling the shots in the broadest American accent.
The US' Matt Hamilton, hair flowing beyond his shoulders, has slipped up.
Great Britain (yellow in pic below) on top with four to play.
Semi-final: USA 4-6 Great Britain (10th end)
So it all comes down to this final end... unless we end up with an extra one!
USA need two here to force an extra end. Great Britain will just defend.
Did you know curling could make you feel like this?

That was a HUGE shot from Bruce Mouat.
John Shuster was content to give up one and back himself to get two or more with the hammer in the last.
It's going to the wire. GB are so difficult to peg back, but Shuster won't be giving in.

Ian MacGilp: Watching the GB Curlers while I'm supposed to be tiling my bathroom. The tile adhesive is rapidly drying in my bucket, but I can't look away from Bruce and the boys!
Matt: I have so much work to do but can't drag myself away from the curling.
Alice: My dissertation can wait, this curling match is far too exciting.
Semi-final: USA 4-6 Great Britain (after nine ends)
Great Britain pick up a point to head into the final end with a lead of two.
The United States have the hammer, but they have it all to do, even to take this to an extra end.
American skip John Shuster is shooting daggers to the stands.
