Welsh strawweight Cory McKenna made UFC history in her second-round submission defeat of Miranda Granger at UFC Vegas 59.
The Cwmbran fighter became the first woman in the UFC to earn a submission win with the Von Flue choke manoeuvre.
The 23-year-old was successful with an impressive 81.1 per cent of her strikes before she submitted her American opponent.
Victory sees McKenna move to 7-2 in her career and 2-1 in the UFC.
Granger is now on a three-fight losing streak.
