The last time we saw Leon Edwards fight was in Manchester at UFC 304 on 28 July 2024.

The Briton came up short and lost his welterweight title against Belal Muhammad after making his walk to the cage at around 05:30 BST.

Edwards, who was making the third defence of his belt, looked flat and was beaten by unanimous decision.

It was the first time he had tasted defeat since 2015 and brought a 13-fight win streak to an abrupt end.

"I'm going out for the finish. I feel like I owe the fans after my last performance in the UK," Edwards told BBC Sport.

It's been fairly respectful between Leon Edwards and Sean Brady throughout fight week and nothing changed there during the face-offs.

An icy stare and it's job done for the pair of them.

How much bigger did Edwards look than Brady there though? Could that be a factor tomorrow?

  14. Pereira and Prochazka in townpublished at 18:27 Greenwich Mean Time 21 March

    Paul Battison
BBC Sport journalist at the O2 Arena

I've heard through the grapevine that former light-heavyweight champions Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka are in London for the event tomorrow.

They will add some stardust to the show - I wonder if the pair will have one eye on the co-main event, featuring fellow light-heavyweights Jan Blachowicz and Carlos Ulberg?

    Blachowicz v Ulberg

    Here are the co-main event.

New Zealand's Carlos Ulberg is first up with the light-heavyweight weighing 205lbs. Another fine example of face paint too with a black line across the eyes.

Jan Blachowicz, returning from a 20-month absence, is also 205lbs.

    Blachowicz v Ulberg

Is that Jan Blachowicz that we can see?

The Polish light-heavyweight is back after a 20 month hiatus for an intriguing match-up with New Zealand's Carlos Ulberg.

Blachowicz last fought in July 2023 against Alex Pereira and has since been recovering from surgery on both shoulders, although that didn't stop him from appearing on (and winning) a gruelling reality television show.

The 42-year-old spent a month racing across the Philippines and Thailand on foot... without a home, food, money or a phone.

"It was a great adventure to survive without a phone and without money, finding a place to sleep and asking people for help - it was an amazing experience," Blachowicz BBC Sport.

"One time we found a place to sleep after 10 minutes of looking, another day you asked people for help but they said 'no', and it can take four to five hours to find a place.

"Normally you don't spend your holidays like this. After three days people would say 'enough, I will go to a hotel now'. I survived a whole month - we won this show, me and my friend."

Are we set for fireworks in this all-British lightweight affair between England's Jordan Vucenic and Scotland's Chris Duncan?
