Lincoln's Sam Lowes took his fourth World Supersport Championship podium finish of the season with third place in the German round at the Nurburgring.
Riding with a foot injury after a crash in qualifying, Lowes started fourth and was promoted to third when compatriot Gino Rea fell midway through the race.
"As the race wore on my injured foot got worse, making changing gear very difficult," the 20-year-old said.
"But everything is alright and it is good to get back on the podium."
He added: "I want to apologise to the team for the three crashes I had [on Saturday]. I put them through a lot of work and harmed my own chances of winning by injuring myself."
Victory went to series leader, Yamaha's Chaz Davies, with Lowes' Parkalgar Honda team-mate James Ellison second.
Lowes remains sixth in the overall standings.
