Jamie Hamilton will make his Isle of Man TT debut next year with Ryan Farquhar's KMR Kawasaki team.
The 20-year-old from Ballymena, who is a former National Superstock 600cc champion, competed on the roads for the first time at the Ulster GP in August.
Hamilton is set to focus on road racing in 2012 and he will race in the Superbike, Superstock, Senior and Supertwins events at the TT.
"I'm really enjoying road racing and can't wait for my TT debut," he said.
Hamilton added: "I couldn't have a better mentor than Ryan and I'm going to be working really hard during the close season to make sure that I'm in the best shape to tackle the course.
"I've already been over to the Isle of Man a few times to look at the course and I'm going to spend large chunks of the winter with Milky Quayle and Johnny Barton learning the course."
Hamilton followed up his two fourth place finishes in the Supertwins at the Ulster Grand Prix by coming second in the Junior support race at Killalane.
His final appearance on the roads in 2011 came at Scarborough with the young rider coming in third and fourth in the Supertwins races.
Hamilton ended the season by clinching a win and a runners-up place in the Supertwins at the Sunflower Trophy meeting.
