Peter Kildemand becomes first Swindon Robins name for 2012

Danish rider Peter Kildemand has become Swindon Robins' first acquisition for the 2012 season.

The 22-year-old makes the move from Premier League side Workington, with Kenny Ingalls heading in the opposite direction.

Kildemand also rode for Coventry last season, external under manager Alun Rossiter, who left the Bees earlier this month to return to the Robins., external

"His calibre is there and his potential is great," Rossiter told BBC Wiltshire.

"Up until recently, when he got injured in the Grand Prix qualifier in Italy, he was doing really well.

"I probably won't be the most popular bloke in Coventry now but now he's with us as a full asset.

"Kenny goes the other way but he could feature, it depends which way the averages go - it's all about juggling numbers in this game."
