Guernsey racing driver Seb Priaulx says it is a "dream come true" to win at Indianapolis.

Priaulx and team-mate Mike Rockenfeller piloted their Ford Multimatic Motorsports Mustang GT3 to victory in the six-hour IMSA Battle on the Bricks race at the iconic American circuit.

The 24-year-old, who is the son of former World Touring Car champion Andy Priaulx, is in his fourth season in the IMSA Sportscar Championship in the United States.

"To kiss the bricks at the end of the race was a dream come true," he told BBC Radio Guernsey.

"It's something you dream of as a kid. Jim Clark and all these famous names have won there and it's a track which for me is one of the biggest ones to win, so I'm over the moon."

The victory was the second of the season for Priaulx, who lies fourth in the GT Daytona Pro standings and was his second of the season.

"This year is first factory gig for me, so overall I think it's been a great year for myself," added Priaulx.

"This year we've worked so well as a team, we had some big wins obviously Detroit and now Indy and also my team-mates won Daytona 24 which is awesome.

"So for Ford it's a big achievement this year for them and overall I'm very happy with my performances."
