Harrison sticks it up the inside of Cooper into Juniper to lead!
The gap is 0.4 seconds, and Todd and Dunlop are right behind.

Cooper responds to lead out of Ballysally, but you could throw a blanket over the top four.

This is going to be a four-way scrap for the lead. Cooper is all over Harrison on the run out of Mill Road....and makes the move into Station.
Todd and Dunlop are in the slipstream and they are four wide....and Todd hits the front!
Dean Harrison leads by half a second from Cooper, Todd and Dunlop.
Jordan is fifth, and Hickman, Hutchinson and Seeley are down the order a bit after their first lap issues.

It was Hickman and Seeley who ended up going straight on at Mather's Cross. They are now well down the order.

Two bikes go down the sliproad at Mather's Cross! There's been loads of action there today. I'm not sure who they were but we'll update you.
Cooper took the lead from Harrison at the Chicane, and Todd is still in the mix!

I have never seen so many people here. We have had stable weather and we're into a really sunny weekend which has brought people out.

The bikes are back on the grid and it won't be long before we are back under way.
The opening laps of the initial race were superb.
Deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland Emma Little-Pengelly speaking on BBC iPlayer: "Look at this weather! So many thousands of people enjoying the North West 200.

"Results are always provisional. The footage will be looked at afterwards and if there is a change required then a change will be made.
"The stewards are currently reviewing the situation at the current time and if it has to be changed, it has to be changed.
"Bearing in mind they are always provisional results until they're approved by the stewards in the meeting."
