Head coach Tracey Neville will stay with the England team for the rest of the Netball World Cup in Australia following the death of her father.
Neville Neville, 65, passed away in hospital in Sydney on Friday - the same day as England's opening match.
His daughter wiped away tears as the national anthem was sung before her side beat Scotland 60-19 in Pool B.
Tracey's brothers, former Manchester United duo Phil and Gary, are reported to have attended the game in Sydney.
The Netball World Cup runs until 16 August and England, who are ranked third in the world, are medal contenders.
An England Netball statement read: "Our immediate thoughts are with Tracey and the Neville family and we please ask that the privacy of the family is respected at this time.
"Tracey has chosen to remain with the England team for the remainder of the World Cup and has the full support from everyone at England Netball."
