Newton 'honoured' to captain Cardiff Dragons in NSL
Jacqui Newton, Leah Middleton and Elle McDonald will form Cardiff Dragons' new leadersip team

Jacqui Newton said she is "truly honoured" to be named Cardiff Dragons captain ahead of the new Netball Super League (NSL) season.
The Australian defender will be joined in the leadership team by Leah Middleton and Elle McDonald, who have been named co-vice-captains.
"I'm already excited about building something special together and I can't wait to see what we accomplish," said Newton.
Dragons begin the new season at home to Loughborough Lightning on Saturday, 8 March.
Head coach Reinga Bloxham said: "I feel we have a wonderful balance of knowledge and experience within our leadership group.
"Their diverse personalities will complement each other, allowing each of them to lead in their unique ways, which will help foster our team and culture."
