'Lack of human touch' - Jones details Dragons exit

An emotional former Wales captain Nia Jones believes her departure from Cardiff Dragons could have been handled more sensitively.

The 70 cap international - now playing football with Swansea City - was not offered a contract by the franchise for next season's revamped Netball Super League.

In response Cardiff Dragons CEO Vicky Sutton praised Jones achievements and contributions to Welsh netball, adding: "Decisions over contracts are always difficult. We constantly learn from how we are applying processes and have spoken to Nia directly with a view to understanding her perspective."
