Top road racer Keith Amor has been forced to quit the sport because of a shoulder injury.

The Scotsman suffered the injury when crashing at last year's Isle of Man TT and aggravated it in a further spill at the Ulster Grand Prix.

Amor, who began his career in 2001, subsequently underwent surgery but the ailments continue to affect him.

"Because of my ongoing injury problems, I've decided to retire completely," Amor told the Newsletter.

His list of wins included victories in 2010 at the North West 200 and Ulster Grand Prix.
