Holders St Michael's Enniskillen are drawn to face favourites St Pat's Maghera in MacRory Cup quarter-finals while the last-eight ties also include a derby clash between Abbey CBS and St Paul's Bessbrook.

St Paul's Bessbrook became the first semi-finalists in the MacRory Cup as they defeated Abbey CBS 1-9 to 0-7 in Friday's opening quarter-final.

Ciaran O'Hanlon hit all St Paul's scores in the first half as they led 1-3 to 0-3 at half-time.

Abbey cut the margin to one point early in the second but they then had Oisin McCabe sent off for a second booking.

St Paul's hit five long-range points in the closing stages to run out deserved winners at Newry.

Gregory McCabe, Connaire Mackin, Conor Nugent and Cormac Toner (0-2) joined O'Hanlon on the score-sheet for the winners.

Two quarter-finals take place on Saturday (9 February) with St Colman's Newry taking on Omagh CBS at Emyvale (Noon) with St Michael's Enniskillen meeting St Patrick's Maghera at Dunmoyle (14:30 GMT) in a repeat of last year's final won by the Fermanagh school.

The remaining quarter-final will see St Patrick's Dungannon taking on St Macartan's Monaghan at the Armagh Athletic Grounds on Wednesday (19:30).
