Munster's first-half display ensured a comfortable 12-point win over battling Ulster in Sunday's Interprovincial Hurling Semi-Final at Armagh.

Ulster stayed in touch early on before Graeme Mulcahy's first Munster goal.

Further goals from Paudie O'Sullivan and Mulcahy extended Munster's lead to 3-6 to 0-3 before Neil McManus notched Ulster's goal.

Leading 3-12 to 1-4 at half-time, Munster eased off in the second half as McManus finished with 1-7 for Ulster.

McManus was the pick of the Ulster players with Aaron Graffin, Neil McAuley, Simon McCrory and Alan Grant also battling well.

But there was no doubting Munster's overall superiority with Mulcahy, O'Sullivan and Shane Dowling the pick of the Munster line-up.

Munster will face Connacht in the decider after the Galway-dominated Western province defeated Leinster 3-13 to 1-16 in Sunday's other semi-final.
