Michael Dunlop clinches double at Tandragee 100

Michael Dunlop in Superbike action at the Tandragee 100

Michael Dunlop continued his preparation for the North West 200 by securing a Superbike double at Saturday's Tandragee 100 meeting.

The Ballymoney rider cruised to a 26-second victory in the Open race before winning the feature Tandragee 100 race at the Co Armagh circuit.

His brother William won the the 250s, Sam Wilson took the 125 honours and Jamie Hamilton won the Supertwins race.

Wayne Kirwan won the Supersport race by 0.03 seconds from Michael Pearson.

Michael Dunlop, who only decided to compete at Tandragee on Friday, dominated the Open race from the start.

Shaun Anderson completed the podium and he was followed in by Derek McGee and Derek Shiels.

Dubliner Shiels was second in the feature race with Pearson third.

McGee also had a third-place finish in the Supersport event.
